Delicious food, great staff, would return for sure if I'm back in Quebec in that area. Only problem is the apartment being... rented out upstairs has a rampant child who might run and stampede like crazy during your meal. So a little bit of a disturbancebut eventually it goes silent again. Would still definitely recommend checking this restaurant out. Very nice environment andagain the food is delicious! Read more

The lady who was our waitress was awful. She was cold and almost rude. But the food is out of this world! So good!

Good Food with slow but entitled service less friendly to English speakers We recently moved to the city and went here for a... nice date night to enjoy our move. My wife is French and I am English but am learning French. During our dinner it felt like ourservice was less than others and was slow because we were an English table. The price and food was not worth the wait or theservice. At the end the waiter asked why the tip wasn?t 15%. We used OpenTable through google to make a reservation for theevening but since we submitted it after 5pm they did not have it (they only check the system at 5pm and do not update it afterthat so availability online is inaccurate). Without any issue they said they would find us a seat. Once we got our seat theservice was slow after our initial order of drinks. We noticed that our service was slower then other people in our area withthe same waiter. This included my water glass being empty for half the meal with no refill. After the appetizer and before theentree the server provided a complimentary soup to both of us apologizing for the slow service. This conversation was directedat my wife in French only (no attempt to talk to me in French or English). After this the service did not get better whichincluded the table behind us who arrived much later getting attention first. Both our appetizers were delicious, the escargotand the pate. My tartar was good but a bit heavy on the mayo but the wife?s pasta just tasted like asparagus. When I (not mywife) got the bill and did not tip 15% the waiter pointed out to my wife in French that the going rate was 15% tip. he thenswore in French as he walked away when we did not change our tip. I have eaten at a variety of fine dining restaurants inToronto, Quebec City, Montreal, PEI, New Brunswick, Edmonton, and Winnipeg and I have never had an experience like this. Read more
