**May 14, 2022 ? This is a follow-up review with another visit to the SUSHI SHOP location in St. Jean (boul. Omer-Marcil). Once... again, the online UX experience on the sushi shop website was a total fiasco!! Despite numerous attempts at paying for theorder... pop-messages saying "This account does not support locking"??!! So a telephone call was necessary to place the order...the employee told me they will accept the SUSHI SHOP gift certificate at the location. Everything so good so far... Pick-up wasmuch better this time than last visit in cold February... no waiting this time around but confusion at cash (LOL). First theysaid the Salmon Poké promotion online was not accepted at this location (so full price for Salmon Poké bowl with NO FREESpring Roll and Bubble Tea as mention online promotion!). Then he mentioned he didn't accept gift certificate (!!)... saying Ishould contact the customer service online. I told him I DID ALREADY and they said the gift certificate is like CASH. Once heheard that, he said "ok". We skipped on the sushi this time and went for The Shrimp Popcorn and Chicken Karaage entrées, whichwere a disappointment... tiny 10 pcs and 6 pcs. The (5) Imperial Rolls we ordered were of standard quality. The Salmon Pokébowl and the Spicy Shrimp Poké bowls were actually very good... what we expected of SUSHI SHOP quality. So for this updatedreview... ONE added star to the last review... for 2 STARS for this location! Service has improved (changed staff?) at thislocation but website still NEEDS work... should not be frustrating to place a simple order online to pick up!!. *************************************************************** Wish there was an option of NO STARS for Customer Service atthis SUSHI SHOP location. . February 15th, 2022 ? This franchise is the biggest pain in the a$$ with the WORST customers service. I will never return. AFTER taking my money I was... told to wait outside in the rain until the order is ready!! I'm so mad!! I asked for my money back and they said "no... Waitoutside or leave, but your not getting your money back and youre not waiting inside". Doing this seems so very fraudulent. Ihave had a bad experience here a few months ago and I chalked it up to just a rude disgruntled employee but this was acompletely new set of people who hate their job and have no regard for the service industry or the franchise that theyrepresent. Sadly didn't have a good experience. I tried ordering two bubble teas through their online service which they advertised on... their shops pamphlet. After logging onto the website I placed my order and payed using my visa, arrived at the correct locationto pick them up, only to be told by the lady behind the counter that I was wrong, and that they never received my order (in atone that felt a bit aggressive to be honest). Thinking it might have been a technical bug, I requested if it was possible tomake the order at that moment (while I was in the shop) instead, only to be told that they don't make any of the basic milk teasin this shop and that they only offered the fruity drink versions listed in their menu, which was not what I wanted and paid forthrough their online shop. I feel swindled to say the least. The money was taken from my account but I received nothing inexchange. I've contacted them through their site directly to see if I can be reimbursed for this purchase, since I neverreceived it. Read more

Very mean staff and not welcoming at all, it is not the first time! I ordered a poke bowl, there was just 2 pieces of chicken... inside , and ordered a volcano blossom roll he gave me avocado hosomaki and insisted that i ordered it! Very bad experience. Read more

This shop has a sweet couple who are very friendly and professional! And most importantly they make great sushi! I really enjoy... the poké bowls, otherwise my favorite rolls is the black mamba! And they prepare the food decently fast too! The shop is alsokept very clean. I eat here often and the food is always good and fresh, highly recommended! 5 stars Read more
