It?s waaaaaaaaay too expensive for the food quality. 18oz ribeye with no sides costs 57 dollar and look at the plate yourself do... you believe it?s from a high end restaurant? The sea bass is burned and it costs 48 dollar. Totally a ripoff! Read more
An absolutely world class cuisine and service, my wife and I have traveled the globe visiting some of the top Michelin Star... restaurants, yet Julian's Cru remains as our to go spot in Montreal for exceptional Steak and sea food! Excellence!!! Beef Tartare with Bone Marrow to dream for (compliments to the chefs) and best Gin and Tonic I have had. As a... matter of fact, this drink (pictured) helped me change my mind in regards to gin and now it's one of my "to go" beverages. Thehamburger was also cooked to perfection. Service was excellent as well: the staff knows their menu very well and makes greatrecommendations based on your taste. They are attending to all of your needs (one of my friends is allergic to anything withpeppers). The staff and the owner are also very friendly. Read more
I enjoyed a very nice brunch here a couple of days ago. The service was excellent, so was the food. Fresh oysters, seared tuna... and beef tacos paired nicely with good wine. Definitely a repeat for us as we are excited to explore the menu further. Read more
It was a last minute decision to have dinner here and I'm glad we did. Upon entering the restaurant, there was this air of... modern elegance and was greeted by one of the wait staff, where he offered to take our coats. Since we arrived at 5:30PM, itwas relatively empty (on a Sunday), so we were offered a table for 2 near the windows, which offered a nice view. The staff wasattentive and overall provided a good service. The time in-between courses was just long enough for us to have a decent chat andrest. Most of the dishes were full of flavour and was well-cooked. The two downsides I could think of, was that the waiterdidn't really inform us that the main dishes were pretty big and we did not manage to finish our main course. Having said that,they were nice enough to pack the leftovers nicely (still awesome as a leftover lunch). The other was when I rang last minute(at 5PM) to make a reservation and whoever answered the phone seemed unfriendly and quick to hang-up without asking for a nameor saying goodbye (I understand that it's quiet, but still..). Not going to dock points for this, but something that could beimproved on. Overall, I definitely recommend this place for any special occasion or if you decide to spoil yourself. Read more
