This second cup was alright for me. When I came in that day I ordered two smoothies. The service was only one tall... gentlemen It was alright and it was decent. I just hope to see improvements on the cleanliness and preparation. He was alsospeaking another language when one of his accomplices or friends showed up. All in all it was alright. Before having a second cup, let us look at the first cup first. I was there at lunch time, After I put the cup of coffee near my... lip, I heard two different tables of elderly couple complained to the cashier saying that their coffee was cold, requesting itto be warmed up by microwave. Of course, my cup was also cold, but I hated to have a cup of coffee reheated by microwave. Thereare coffee selling at 50% elsewhere and the standard are better maintained. Read more
I don't like leaving 1-star reviews however for this establishment I must say it must be done. its not up to franchise... standards at all. The service was okay. The guy is doing his best, but he was very busy. The deserts were not fresh at all. I got the brownies. It... was super dry. I asked the guy for another piece. He didn't have another one. So I took a chocolate cake. It wasn't fresheither. I would have preferred reutilisable forks instead of plastic. Read more
Well placed location, a lot of traffic in and out but there is always room to sit. Lots of college students during the day and... night. Free wifi. You don?t feel rushed. The coffee and food is a 4.5 on 5 but I rated it a 3 because the service staff couldbe a little friendlier and bubbler. Also, they should offer perks for their cardholders such as something free for yourbirthday, like they do at Starbucks and David?s Tea. A little nice gesture goes a really long way. Edit to my previous review above, and reason for reducing from 3 stars to 2: the female manager or owner with thefrizzy dirty blonde hair is rude and speaks roughly to both customers and her employees, lacks discretion, professionalism andproper customer service skills. She needs training in customer appreciation. Will be switching cafés after today?sexperience. Service should not be this complicated. To be noted: the 2 female baristas/employees in the front were supercourteous and clearly have the right skills to work there, in spite of their boss?s inaptitude. ???? P.S.
