Poutine was really only so-so.... cheese was to cold to melt and potatoes were not really cooked enough...had many better than... this place but was told it is famous so stopped to try... won't recommend any friends to stop though. Read more

Pretty store but a little small. I didn't see any cheese offered for tasting like in the Laterie Charlevoix. There's a... restaurant on site that I didn't try. Probably the best cheese curd you will ever taste! I've been coming here ever since I was little and they have by far the best,... squickiest cheese curds! Try a fresh bag with the Red Champagne (sort of a cream soda but with an apple taste to it). Every timeI come home to see my family in Albanel, we always stop and my wife and kids love it! This place was suggested to me by a friend who has a chalet in the area. He says they have the best poutine he's ever tasted. ... We found the place fairly easy since it's along the main road. I ordered the poutine with barbecue sauce. I was pleasantlysurprised because it tasted more like a poutine General Tao. I actually preferred it to the regular brown sauce. Read more
