This place is a gem. We were greated by the owner who was extreamly polite and courteous. The owner Rudy was attentative our... questions and looked for solutions for my requests. Before going to this place I read some of the negative reviews and I cantell you that the owner takes care to fix complaints because we noticed some differences and adjustments to our experiencecompared to some other reviews . The food was delishious. We ordered calamari (the freshest I've ever had it) and 10oz steak.Although mine was more rare than I preferred, upon bringing to Rudy's attention he was fast to fix it and make sure I enjoyed mymeal. I have been coming to this restaurant for over a decade. This was my first time experiencing the restaurant after the change of... ownership. I was sadly disappointed with my meal. The kangaroo steak use to be cooked as filets with a side of squash, toppedwith delicious gravy. Everything would melt in your mouth. After the change of ownership and a new revised menu, the same mealwhich I always ordered previously was now gamey, hard to cut and overcooked. It was served with a side of cold french fries. Mytea was a small cup which I drank in 3 sips and no refills. There was four of us sitting at the table and we were given fourslices of bread, one silver each (this we found was humorous). We were four people out for supper here All plates were nit even warm. Had to send them back. My my mussels were dry and no... broth at all.fries were not warm either. The waitress gace us good service and quite sad about our plates. We were the firsttable to be served so no reason our plates were cold. Also the chef or owber never came to see us about it. This was my first visit to this restaurant, so I didn't know what to expect. I went with a friend who had been several times,... and she was looking forward to their salmon. I am vegan, so I was a little apprehensive since the menu is mostly meat dishes.Well, let me tell you, I came away from my experience overjoyed! Rawad brought me a beautiful plate filled with a salad, grilledvegetables, beets, rice, and even a side of their amazing fries. It was perfect. Beautifully presented and so tasty! I was sothrilled, I told my vegan friends to give it a try. The terrace was nice and not over-crowded even though almost every seat wastaken. Service was pretty fast, and it didn't take long to get our food. The atmosphere is fun. We both had a great time. Wesampled 3 of the wonderful desserts and were not disappointed. Had reservations for our anniversary,was on time only to be greeted by unfriendly owner, chef who was short staffed and was... initially upset as we wanted to sit inside by rather than patio( Covid etc) We ordered by 750 and by 910 only received oursalad.Asked for our bill and was told our meal was on its way.Too late. His explanation was trying to run 3 restaurants at onetime .I understand but run 2 instead and do it well We love this place but will be awhile before we go back.
