Went for our 3 year anniversary and the whole experience was a home run. The service was amazing, they seated us at a nice... table a bit secluded, the oysters were the best I've ever had and the pepper steak was delicious. I reserved with open table. Warm welcome walking in. Claude my waiter was very knowledgeable, kind and professional. Rockefeller... oysters are very good. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection : blackened on the outside, medium rare inside. I was verypleased with the experience and will come again. Read more

We made our reservations well ahead and had a very nice table. The restaurant decor has not been changed in many years, if... ever, which could have been overlooked if the food and customer service had been good. When we first got there, our service wasexcellent! Very attentive. As the restaurant got busier, the service declined drastically. We started with the wedge salad whichwas excellent! The best blue cheese dressing I have had with large chunks of blue cheese. My husband had steak and I hadlobster. The steak was an inferior cut for almost $70 and not well cooked. The Monte Carlo potato was delicious. The lobster wasover-cooked. The broccoli was mushy and the asparagus was rock hard. A disappointing meal in a restaurant well known for goodfood. Very enjoyable diner as always. Started our dining experience with the usual Gibby's pickles, hot bread with butter and side... bacon. The Gibby's salad never disappoints and our server was quick to bring us a more dressing as he love the house dressing! My spouse had the beef wellington and it was tender as could be with a beautiful crust. My steak with pepper sauce was alsocooked to perfection with a nice crust and pepper sauce was just right. I went on a Saturday night to this Gibbys restaurant St-Sauveur and the server drop half the water pichet on my wife, mistake... happens that?s call life. But the manager offer us a free dessert or 20$ less on our bill. Wow what serves from the manager.Good Luck champion! Read more
