Quick service as far as tending to our drinks and getting appetizers in. Unfo4tunately it took a long time to get out... appetizers, and the bread with the appetizers was burnt. Main course again took a little while to come out. But that wasfantastic. Waiters were good and a attentive. It wad a Tuesday so it was a nice quiet atmosphere. Read more

Fresh and delicious food! It was my first time dining in and I will definitely be going back. I had the New England Clam Chowder... and it was so yummy! Plus I ordered a couple apps and a dinner. The apps filled me up so I had to take my dinner home. A lot offood with great prices!! Read more

Had the mussels, they were good, maybe think of serving with some type of toast to suck up the tasty juice? Pecan crusted... salmon was very good. Service at bar was good as well... was never offered dessert. Not even sure if they have any. Would goback. Read more

Ranks in my top 10 favorites. Quaint, homey atmosphere with historical character in a quiet town. Excellent service and... exceptional authentic New England food for a lower price than you?d expect given the overall experience. Read more

We were excited to try Jeff's Maine seafood. It looks very nice from the outside and the interior is nice. The experience... started out nicely. Our waitress was pleasant and took our drink order promptly. When our drinks arrived she took our foodorder. The mussel appetizer took a bit to come out which was no big deal. Mussels were ok. This is where the experiencestarted down hill. Waitress came back and said they were out of mashed potatoes... kind of odd...but again no big deal. Iasked for the sweet potato fries instead. That was the last time she came to our table for 35 mins. We realized she wasinexperienced as a waitress while we watched another group at a table close by, show her how to open a bottle of wine. Shestood and chatted with them for 10ins, 6 feet away, returning to their table several times never once even looking in ourdirection. After 20 mins of our glasses being empty(even our water glasses) the hostess came over to take the mussel plate andasked if we needed anything. Told her yes we would like to place a wine order and could use some water. Another 15mins later nowater in sight and still no waitress. She finally brings our main dishes (the Caeser salad I ordered never came). We put in awine order and AGAIN ask for water. Since we have no water or anything else to drink we waited to eat our food. While waiting Ihear the bartender tell our waitress "oh that one, we haven't had that in weeks". Yep wine I ordered they haven't had inweeks...maybe take it off the menu or at least make a note. I tell her nevermind. When she brings the other wine she asks ifeverything is good. I tell her "NO. My swordfish was the saddest piece of swordfish I have ever seen (see pic). Looked likesomething from the grocery store freezer section and I was paying $25 for it. (It wasn't even 1/4 in thick and was dry as abone.) I never received my salad and I asked for sweet potato fries not regular." Her only response was "I'm the only o Read more

I would certainly recommend getting a reservation if you want to eat here. We managed to slip in without one but all the... tables Were in use. They asked if we had one upon walking in. I had the lobster Mac and cheese. As an appetizer we had crabcakes. My friend ordered a lobster roll. We were on a week long vacation. Out off the places we ate this was my favorite.Service excellent. Food came out hot and fresh. Will come back if in the area. Read more
