My husband and I had dinner there this evening at this idylic restaurant by the sea. The plates were plentiful and prepared with... care. The food was excellent and so flavorful. Had I known about this place at the start of our stay in St. Andrews, I woukdhave dined there every night. I had haddock and my husband had the curry. Both were exquisite. The Niger salad is great toshare. Congratulations! Loved it! Marie-France and Carmine, Ottawa. Read more

My husband and I are on Vacation and drove over 14 hours to St Andrews. We saw this cute spot with great reviews and were really... excited to try it out. When we walked in, it was super busy, which is a good thing! I was happy to wait. When we walked in wewere greeted with ?it?s going to be a wait for outside?, not hi, welcome?? We said that?s ok we can sit inside and his reply was?it?s still a wait?. Then we walked up to get a menu, where the server said, ?we will come to you?. As we are sitting andwaiting, we hear the same guy saying ?wtf is this? at his register. Then the waitress said ?this is busy for a Tuesday? to whichhis response was ? don?t invite me back? and ? I just want to punch everyone in the face that walks in? . My husband cancelledour orders which were a 30 dollar lobster roll and a 20 dollar burger. What a disappointment. Will NEVER recommend. This restaurant is lovely: beside the Bay of Fundy, in an historic park. We watched the tide go out and enjoyed a Sunday evening... on the deck set menu of prime rib roast, with veggies, starting with a fresh salad, and finishing with a fudgy chocolatecake A glass of red wine each, plus an EPA for himself. Plus a pot of tea , perfectly made: for myself. Excellent friendlyservice. Would recommend. The building is authentic log , board and batten. Used to be a tea House for the Daughters of theEmpire. (I.O.D.E.) so we are told. And a barn quilt on the wall, for added effect. Read more

Went to dinner here for first time to celebrate wife's birthday. Couldn't have picked a better place. Outstanding local food... prepared with style. The appetizer of grilled scallops wrapped in smoked salmon was wonderful. For the main course we both chosethe cod with lobster sauce which was served with roasted potatoes, tender root vegetable and broccoli all cooked to perfection. The service was very friendly, personal and expert despite nearly every table being filled. It was like being in a smallEuropean family owned restaurant only situated on a pleasant patio overlooking Passamaquoddy Bay. Read more
