We had a wonderful bartender and the food tastes good. However when we noticed an employee slicing cold cuts with his bare... hands. I started to get alarmed with the lack of food safety. I mentioned it to our bartender she apologized and said thatperson, who was her manager, should know better. It looked like she mentioned it to him and this is when I got very concerned,he walked out to the patio, picked up a half eaten cheese and meat platter, came back to the station and began reorganizing theremaining cheese that was on the platter adding more meats and cheeses to the platter that had been sitting outside in the heat,all using his bare hands. In a world where most places don?t seem very hospitable anymore, this place truly cares! Service is top notch! Very attentive... and genuinely kind service! Plenty of vegetarian options and prices are more than reasonable. Read more
Very friendly staff. Good food. Nice outside dining area.
When I walked in alone Host/Hostess looked at me funny. I had to ask for a table. Was told no table available on patio, there... were several empty tables. Food was delicious! My Entre came with a salad and bread with garlic butter and oil. I had a glass ofwine and creme Brulee all for under $40! The Host needs to brush up on his friendliness, as he acted as though I didn't exist,and I saw him treat older patrons with more respect than young ones. Waitress was great! Atmosphere is more modern. Food wascomparable to Antonio's and Andiamo. I more welcoming experience would have given them a 5 rating. Read more
Always a lovely time to be had. April and Michelle take great care of us and we've decided the counter is our spot. They also... happen to make the best Sub in Michigan, ask them for the Famous and let John work his magic. Very wallet friendly, but I alwaysend up spending more as their selection of meats and groceries are just great. Great customer service all around. Kudos toeveryone. Read more
Love this place. We had a bottle of wine from Italy. Doesn't matter what kind, it was good. We had the calamari to start with... the bread and small salad. The bread would have been a little better if it was warm. For a meal we shared veal scallapina withpasta and a side of sausage It all tasted amazing. We finished it off with the tiramisu. Best tiramisu we've had in awhile. Youcan't past this up. Read more
First time in! Got the meatball panini, it wasn?t my favorite- it was mostly just bread..not a lot of sauce. My friend got a... salmon salad that was great!we were told that they needed our table for a reservation, so we felt rushed out even though we gotdrinks, food and a cappuccino, and didn?t overstay by any means. Good place to come and check out, prices seemed a little bit high for having to sit at a community table and eat pasta. The... pasta was very al dente which was good I like it that way. Our food was pretty delicious, the tiramisui we ordered for dessertwas so good I swear it had to be made in house and was told it is not. The food is not cheap especially for pasta and drinks arenot cheap also, it's like the prices reflect a fancier more individualized environment. There is a deli in the center of theplace you can order meats and cheeses and other things from. The service was ok. Had to wait for some things but our server wasdoing her best I suppose for it really not being busy at all while we were there. Makes me wonder how it is when they are busy.They have an open kitchen area you can see which is cool too be able to see them cooking the food, got the flames going backthere it was cool. Did not get a pic unfortunately, I felt a bit awkward as they were looking at me also.. It was veryinteresting to find out that the pieces of wood in the middle that make up what looks like a tree are actually from winebarrels.
