Where to even start.... second time eating here and "mystery" charges on our bill each time. Watched a waitress handle cash at... the register and then pick up and butter someone's toast immediately after without washing her hands. THEN watched our waitressdo the exact same thing with our toast. I politely told her we're a little weird about germs (as to not make her uncomfortableand put the blame on us) and asked for new toast. She then was whispering to all of the staff and we were made to feel superuncomfortable with lots of dirty looks. Definitely won't be eating here again, absolutely disgusting. I?ve been coming to Karas for over 20 years and have loved it every time. The servers are attentive, great people, and prices... are very reasonable. The gyro is the best I?ve ever had, especially paired with the tzatziki. Omelets are fantastic, hash brownsare always just right? I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. Kara's has some of the best gyros around. If you like Mediterranean food, you have to try theirs. The servers are always... friendly. They have a cheeseburger that adds gyro meat and feta - amazing! Read more

This is the best breakfast I've had in recent memory. The gyro meat is perfectly seasoned. I'd eat that every day if I could. ... The pancakes are the best I've tried at any restaurant I've been to. Lived in the Shores my entire life, but only recently started to stop by here. This is definitely the new family spot for us.... Servers are always so nice and the food is always so fresh!
