Great food, great service. Lunch special was was a good deal for a burger, fries, and a pop for $8.99.
We met friends for brunch on 9/25/22. We arrived first, were told to sit where we liked, and a server quickly brought menus,... both brunch and their standard. She told us they were out of X, Y, and Z, though, "they never had Z so [she] wasn't sure why itwas still on the menu." Given the brunch menu is a piece of printer paper in a plastic sleeve that could very easily bereprinted, we were baffled as well. I was going to have the breakfast special ([2] eggs your way, choice of sausage or baconand hashbrowns, served with toast $8). I asked for scrambled egg whites and the minute I said that, our server stopped me andsaid, (not verbatim, but the jist) that they have a temperamental cook and he won't do egg whites. So, heads up, not your way atall. We all, understandably, looked at her like she was joking. She wasn't. I said something like, "okay I guess nothing for meand I'll just make something when I get home...," still thinking she was joking. Again, nope. She offered to try to talk to himand see if he would be willing to separate an egg, but anyone willing to die on that hill would absolutely spit in your food, soI declined. We all thought it was very odd that one would continue to employ someone so obviously unhinged, but then K remindedme that the same thing had happened before and, in fact, was the reason we'd given FP a pass since last year. Obviously theircook is family, a very close friend, or has a ton of blackmail material if he still has a job. We paid for the food and drinkswe'd ordered thus far and left. Our server was fine and is not responsible for the cook's inability to function like a normaladult, so we remained pleasant and we tipped her as if we'd had a decent experience. Don't bother trying to call to place a carryout order from here. Even though they close at 2am, I called at 930pm and the lady... was very rude when answering the phone. First off she didn?t even say hello just ?firehouse pub? with an annoyed tone. Afterasking if I could place a carryout she simply just said ?no? very rudely and short. After asking what time they close and whythey were not accepting carryouts, she said ?social distancing? and got annoyed when asking what that meant. She didn?t explainwhat that even meant or why she could not take a carryout order. She just repeated what she already said ?social distancing.?Very poor customer service. Read more

Had the chicken tacos which were one of the specials of the day for $7.00 and they would have been perfect except the chicken... was dry AF and had hardly any flavor whatsoever, had to pay $1 more for a lil salsa which I should have done. Was so hungry Ijust ate. Should've gone with beef, as always... The $3 margarita special was not so special but not extremely terrible as itwas mostly flavoring, went with a Belle's Xmas Ale second time around that was on point and saved the day. Great location and nice interior but they need a good chef to upgrade their below average food that has no flavor and sometimes... it is over flavored which a good chef would know about. Onion soup as an example was peppered with thyme and didn't taste likeonion soup at all. Burgers were plain and dry. It would be great if they had a chef who knew how to cook. Read more
