My Bahama Mama was good, but the service was so discomforting that I have to give a bad review. They watched my friends and me... enter and instantly started to shuffle around trying to avoid us, even tho the store was virtually empty. They refused to makeeye contact, refused to greet us, refused interact with us by any means. Anytime we tried to show some common curtesy theybolted away to act like they were too busy to be bothered. We purposely said thank you loudly before leaving so we?d know forsure they were ignoring us (we were the only customers at that point so they definitely heard and chose not to respond.) So it happened to me too! Don't go here, this location has a habit of not giving the door dasher your full order. This is the... second time they've done this to me. And they also over charged my teenager when I gave her my card to go get her own food.Added a 20% gratuity and refused to refund eventhough she had left a cash tip. So, I don?t like to complain, but when you call me a liar, I all bets are off. I placed an order online at 12:21 for two... smoothies. I Received an email that they would be done at 12:36. Online orders are usually done before the time indicated atthis location so I showed up at 12:29. I told an employee I had an online order for ?my name? and was told he had the order andwould make it right now. I watched as he added the ingredients and placed them into the blender, and hit the blend button. Timenow 12:31. I watched as my smoothies sat in the blender for over five minutes until another employee poured them into the cupsand pushed them to the side. Time now 12:37. Customers came and went, smoothies made, while my smoothies continues to sit on thecounter. The employee finally bagged my drinks up and walked them to the refrigerator where I was standing. I asked if they werefor ?my name? and she said yes. Time is now 12:41. I said you realize they had been done ten minutes ago. The employee said,that is not true, I just blended them up. If that?s the story the employee is sticking with, I?m sorry but you?re the liar. Iunderstand the service industry is hurting and this location has staffing issues, but do not call me a liar and dismiss me. Whydoes this new generation have a difficult time saying, ?I?m sorry, we?re short staffed and we?ll try to do better next time?,rather then lie to me and actually argue with me about what I just saw. This is a new St. Clair Shores location for the Tropical Smoothie Cafe. It is very clean on the inside even after being open for... several hours today; it looked like it had been open for the just minutes because it still had that "morning first openingclean" in the air. Not a mess in site and that matters to me. No one wants to get food from a place thats dirty and messy. Theworkers are very pleasant. I got the Baha Chicken Wrap and chips and I would get it again.
