Haven?t been here in over 20 years and I?m glad to see that nothing has changed. Same home cooked comfort food as always. The... stuffed pepper and mashed potatoes were like what my mom used to make before she passed in 2001. It made me so happy to eat hereon my way though Ohio. I like this place, and I want to love it. I'm always excited to find an old fashioned cafeteria that is surviving and thriving,... as places like this are increasingly hard to find. The food is usually great, and the staff are efficient if not personable, butmy visits have been hit or miss. Hits include homemade pies, the wide selection of sides and entrees, grandma's house styledecor, and fair prices. Misses include the lack of waitstaff to provide drink refills and condiments, and the deviled eggs thatgave me mild food poisoning earlier this year. I've since returned and had no similar issues, but I still steer clear of theeggs. Read more
This place is excellent and amazing!! I travel a lot so when in on the area I shop here. It's like eating at my grandma's house... back in the day. I highly highly highly recommend this place. They also have homemade pies that melt in your mouth. Read more
