Not the same old Steak n Shake you miss, but the food still tastes the same, and still has the same charm. Self serve kiosks... instead of Waitress/Waiter. The meals under $4 Menu has also shrunk considerably. Read more
This was my first time at a Steak n Shake with the self service kiosks and I loved it! The only qualm I ever had with the chain... has always been the slow service and this completely solved the issue. The food was amazing. The restaurant was clean. I wish Ididn't live an hour away. Read more
We absolutely LOVE the burgers here but on this particular day not only our family but several other families asked for to go... containers so we could pack up and leave due to an employee who was very high pitched screaming about getting in trouble forbeing on her phone while on the clock. It was absolutely ridiculous! Read more
Kiosk ordering sucks...menu offerings are minimal. My favorite sandwich is gone. Did not get toppings ordered, food was cold by... the time we got an employee to look up from their phones in the back to get our tomato for sandwich (it was on receipt, just noton sandwich). Otherwise sandwich and fries were good. Coffee no longer an option. We will not be returning. Read more
The service was terrible the worst steak n shake I ever ate at. 27 dollars for me and my girl and the food came out cold and... ordered milk shakes with extra cherries the waitress dropped the cherry off of my girls and threw it away and never offered toreplace it and we paid extra for the cherries. So if you are craving burgers keep on to McDonald's or Wendy's or Burger King forbetter experience. Read more
I have never been to a more disgusting food establishment. I?ve never had a bad Steak & Shake until tonight. We were the only... patrons sitting inside and minimal drive thru cars. Yet we received stale buns, cold cheese and missing food items. The frieswere not the regular shoe string fries and I literally got 12 with my order. Besides the subpar food the place was filthy. Thefloors look like no one had touched them in days- food everywhere, filth on the floors, ketchup smeared across the glass,garbage piled up over the receptacles. When we left the restaurant we noticed a mountain of trash bags just sitting outside theback door. I do understand places are short staffed but there was at least 4 people working and like I said it was dead. Andthere should still be a level of cleanliness and service. Read more
Ok, the kiosk is fine though does take away from the steak and shake experience. There is no service at all though the kitchen... staff was doing their best to help people actually use the kiosk and clean tables in between orders. The shake guy madeexcellent shakes ?? Read more
