I absolutely love Black Bear Diner. Over the years, my family and I have dined here in a few different states. When on... vacation, we always chose to eat here over the other predictable chains, because we know the quality of food is great, the foodoptions are plentiful, and the portion sizes are satisfying. Speaking of portion sizes? OMG, they are huge. The amount of foodyou received here is well worth the cost, and you will definitely walk away stuffed and satisfied that you got every bite ofyour money?s worth. For the kiddos, they definitely have something for even the pickiest of kids. There are also options forvegans, vegetarians, as well as meat lovers. On our visit, we arrive on a Sunday around 4pm. There were only a few other dinersthere when we walked in. We were quickly greeted and sat at a booth. Our server was friendly, welcoming, and prompt to take ourorder. The food arrived hot, fresh, and was fantastic as usual. For the most part, the restaurant and bathrooms were prettyclean. The carpet really needed to be swept, but I?m sure that?s probably because they must?ve had a busy breakfast/brunchcrowd. Overall, we had a great visit here. I?d definitely return again the next time we find ourselves in St. George. Highlyrecommended. Read more

Oh my word! Their food is amazing! You really get your money?s worth here. I ordered a sweet potato fries for starters... (expecting the typical pathetic small serving), oh boy was I surprised when they came out with a giant full plate of fries! That?s not all, but the pictures say the rest. Read more

This is a very nice diner and I could see myself visiting again if in the area. Let me start by saying that the atmosphere is... so cute and everything is literally "bear" themed. The food arrived within a very reasonable time frame and the portions arehuge. Boy, do I love a good bargain and here you get what you pay for. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable of theirproduct. Overall, I would recommend anyone and everyone to give this place a try. Read more

We stopped for breakfast on our way to Vail, CO. We?ve stopped here several times so we know it?s good. Friendly service,... reasonable prices and good food. Breakfast orders were chorizo breakfast burrito, eggs Benedict and chicken fried steak andeggs. The only bummer part was the salsa. More like a can of tomatoes. I preferred the hot sauce they provided on the side. Read more

The food at Black Bear Dinner always tastes as good as it looks and it always looks good. The Original ScramBowl is great, I... wanted to take a photo but forgot as soon as it arrived. I have had several great breakfasts at BB. However, when I went to theall you can eat fish fry, they change out the cod for catfish, they do list it as white fish not cod. The sweet tea had lemons? The dinner so far has over two whole lemons and the batter on the cod was not a fluffy batter it was thin and firm like the cod.the batter on the catfish was traditionally catfish hushpuppy batter. The beverages had different prices on the glossy menu atthe table than the paper menu they take away making overcharging easy or an honest mistake? Read more

The food and service was great! For breakfast, my fiancé and I got the Grizz & the 2 egg combo with corn beef hash. The... pancakes were delicious, moist & fluffy. It was my first time trying huckleberry lemonade, which was very refreshing. Also, ourwaitress Regina was great, friendly, & attentive, even with how busy I could tell she was. We'll definitely come here wheneverwe're in the area! Plus, I think the bear theme with everything is adorable. Read more

You can count on Black Bear Diner for efficient service and generous helpings. Staff was super friendly and also rare these... days, but they had plenty of staff which was refreshing to see...they must treat employees right! 10 minute wait on a Sundayaround 10am, so that's pretty snappy! Bacon was thick cut and perfectly cooked, cinnamon roll pancakes were tasty albeit notconsistently hot all the way through. Pancakes were great and man did we both leave stuffed. Read more

Very good cheeseburger salad. Recommended if you fancy something a bit more healthy than usual. The bear claws seems to be the... special dessert stuffed with almonds and it s very good. Read more
