We loved this place. We hit it at about 3:00 pm on Friday afternoon. We were the only ones in the place, so service was... personal, quick and the food was great. I ordered the Pad Woon Sen and a Dragon Roll. The flavors were good and satisfying. Read more

Complete fail. We ordered to-go since they were about to close for the midday break. I should have checked the order before we... left but since what we wanted was pretty simple, I didn?t think it would be necessary. Especially since there were no customersin the restaurant and less risk of getting something wrong. We ordered Pad Thai with chicken, it came with no sauce. We orderedChicken Satay, it was dry and not even served on the skewers like every other restaurant. We ordered a Spicy Tuna Roll andreceived a basic tekkamaki roll instead. There are plenty of other Asian food restaurants in the greater St George area and thisone just went to the bottom of the list. Very disappointed that a super simple order was botched so badly. Ate lunch here this week with 3 friends. Been watching it being built and we were anxious to try it. Our food was delicious and... our server was friendly, helpful and efficient. There were a lot of choices on the menu. The combination appetizer plate wasyummy and enough for 3-4 people--the fried shrimp truly melted in our mouths. The stir-fry cashew chicken that I had rivaledthat of another Thai restaurant across the street from the mall which is a favorite of mine. Between us we had several orders ofthe stir-fry and a mild chicken curry. All were tasty and servings were very generous. Plenty to take home for lunch the nextday. Can't wait to return--will try their sushi next time. Heard from another patron there that it is excellent. Pretty excitedthat this place is only 5 minutes from my house!! ???? Read more

I really wanted to like this place, but it fell short of 5 stars. The food was descent enough, but the service was very slow.... Assuming they?re still working out the kinks with it being newly opened. We ordered the Pad Thai Combo that came with a saladand egg roll. The salad was simply lettuce and tomato? would have been better with a light miso dressing of some sort? No Thaisweet chili sauce with the egg roll? sad. The Pad Thai was pretty good though. We also ordered the Mars sushi roll and it hadgood flavor and crunch from the tempera shrimp inside. My husband ordered the Massaman curry but it never came out.??????????????? The server kept saying there was a mix up, he apologized several times, but after 20 minutes of us bothfinishing off the pad thai and sushi roll we just asked for the curry to go. I?m hopeful this place can get more streamlined andrunning smoothly. We will try again in a few months if they are still open. Read more

Eight Moons Thai & Sushi was decent. The sushi was pretty good and the Thai had fair flavors. I felt the curry was watered down... a bit too thin as well as the Tom Ka Gai. It?s still pretty new. The service was friendly and prompt. I?ll go back and edit myreview if my opinion changes. Read more

Eh? wanted to like this place. We ordered the Pad Thai Shrimp and Veggie meal. The Pad Thai veggie was good, however the Pad... Thai Shrimp was way over sauced and not an authentic Pad Thai. Very little peanuts and no green onions or other veggies?. Justnoodles drenched in sauce. We also order the veggie egg rolls as they were out of pork egg rolls? Would not recommend gettingthese. You could tell they were frozen and just an egg roll filled with mush. The veggies inside were not good at all. Weordered the edamame appetizer? waaaay over salted and not eatable, we actually sent this dish back. On top of all this, wewaited a while for our appetizers first, however our meals came out first, then we had to tell the staff that we orderedappetizers, then those came out last. Staff was nice, but service was so so. they are new so hoping to go back when they haveworked out all of the bugs. The Thai tea however was on point! ???????????? the food on the other hand is sub-par. Read more

Flavors were okay, service was terrible and my orange chicken ?stir fry? was about 2/3 the serving size that I would expect for... that price, was deep fried with sauce poured over it with a side of white rice?and it was cold, not even a little warm. All 7 ofus in my group were new to 8 moons and we all agreed that it was a ?one and done? place to eat and NOT going into our lunchrotation. With better service and better attention to detail (don?t bring the appetizers out after the main dish, don?t show alunch special on the big screen menu and then tell us there isn?t one, don?t let the food leave the kitchen cold) this placecould be good. Thank you SO much for having vegan and vegetarian options. I got the ginger tea, papaya salad with no fish sauce, and vegetarian... massaman curry with tofu. Only a 4 star because the ginger tea was supposed to be hot but it was lukewarm and I asked for mycurry to be a hot spicy level but it didn?t have any spice. I can?t wait to try their vegetarian sushi options when they opentheir sushi menu! Thank you again, the food was fabulous and I will be coming back all the time! Read more
