Overall, a welcome place to have a meal with friends. Reservation process was easy and I received a confirmation call the day... before; nice touch. Ambiance is open, high ceilings, tables spread apart nicely. Service was friendly and unobtrusive. Food anddrinks came out within 5-7 minutes after order placed. Prices are what one would expect for the area, higher end of the middlerange or lower of the high range. Read more
Exceptional service and high quality food prepared perfectly. We ordered several apps + the ribs and beignets and loved it all!... The ribs were fall off the bone tender, not fatty and seasoned just right. The food here was really lovely and the service even better. We were treated really well by our waitress when we thought our... wine might had cork. They have a great kids menu as well which isn't just fries. Definitely recommend you come here if visitingNapa valley. The food was good, but pretty pricey. We got the burger with bacon ($29) for example and it was a solid burger, but not worth... the price since it was not the best burger in the world or anything. The best thing we had was my kid's Mac and cheese, whichwas absolutely amazing. My husband's chicken was ok - again, good, but not for the price. We had bought a bottle beforehand intheir tasting room, but couldn't finish the whole bottle so brought it to dinner. We were charged an additional $10 corkage feefor bringing in our two glasses. Since it was from their own tasting room, I would have hoped they would have been moreaccommodating about bringing in the wine, but that was not the case. We had the chocolate cream pie, which was the same as therest - good, but not worth $13 bucks for a slice. Always incredible, & the Mac & cheese is the best on the planet! Beef tartare is excellent, as well. Every dessert on the menu... is top notch, but just know that the cookies are HUGE, and 3 come in 1 order. Beautiful indoor space, and absolutely lovelygrounds and outdoor seating. Read more
This place was fantastic! When you first walk through the door the smell of bbq hits you. For this reason I had to order the... ribs and slaw. Highly recommended! The Brussels sprouts we probably the best I’ve had so far. Cocktails were great too. The staff was friendly too. This place is a must try for sure! Read more
Farmstead was exactly what we wanted for a relaxed New Year's Eve Day date. The server was excellent and cared well for my... husband's allergy needs. Everything we tried was very tasty. I had the pulled pork (the sauce is on the vinegary side and notvery sweet which is my preference), my husband had the Dungeness Crab Roll and loved it. And we had the coleslaw, and ice creamto end. On top of it he had the non-alcoholic house made soda and I had the Late Harvest Spritzer. Both were hard to have justone of. Highly recommend. We'll be back. Read more
Absolutely Perfect! From the moment you walk up to the restaurant, and walk into the main dining, you are immersed and shown... that the food is fresh from the farm. This old world classic concept has been lost in time but Farmstead has made it a priorityto showcase the current season on its plates! My husband and I enjoyed an amazing brunch that has been a conversation piecesince our experience. The menu was nothing short of simplistic fine dining ! We started with the soft and warm burrataalongside a whole roasted garlic spread on crispy sliced sourdough bread. It was complimented by the tart pickled onions, andsuper crunchy pickles. We then proceeded to our main entree, a hearty super delicious grass-fed cheeseburger! It was the mostperfectly balanced burger I’ve ever had! The portion was large, so we did split this between the two of us.. The patty wascooked to perfection and sandwiched between fresh greens and soft ciabatta! It was accompanied by super crunchy roasted potatowedges with homemade ketchup!! We sipped on mimosas and wine and enjoyed our meal quite pleasantly. The ambiance was airy,light, and comfortable.
