This MOD has gone downhill recently. Paid $15 for a family size salad that's supposed to feed 2-4 people and what I got would... barely feed one. Containers were only 1/3 of the way filled with lettuce and they forgot half the toppings I ordered. Would havegone back once I realized, but the service was so bad it wasn't worth the hassle. Rarely can pizza lovers find a consistently high-quality pie, especially at a chain, but that's exactly what you'll get at the... St. Helen's Mod. The thinner crust version is roughly the equivalent to what you'd find in Italy at a neighborhood bar orcoffee shop; super fresh, light, just the right amount of bubble and shatter in the crust. The thicker crust version gives youmore of a base to stand up to the tooth, and if you're going to add extra quantities to your toppings, the thicker crust canhandle it without buckling. The taste, flavor, blend and cook time are all routinely, absolutely perfect. I also want to saysomething about the staff. Desiree and her crew are extraordinary. They work really well together, which is important becausethere's no privacy in the form of a wall separating their work from the customer's view. You'll get to see, right out in theopen, how well they work together. Beyond politeness, they engage with customers very personally to make sure the pie they'remaking for you is exactly the way you want it. You simply cannot detect a shred of impatience or frustration, because they aretotally into making you exactly what you want, exactly the way you want it; customization doesn't disrupt their job, it IS theirjob. This customer-first/customer-always ethic comes from Desiree on down, and it's impressive to see how intrinsic this ethicis over the many times they've fed me. It's especially impressive to be on the receiving end of service like that during apandemic when so many shops in the food industry are understaffed, the employees are overworked and everybody is stressed allthe way out. Mod is very very good, every time. Read more

This was my first experience with a MOD pizza. I enjoyed it. For those that have never been, I would liken it to a Subway... sandwich shop for pizza. You choose your dough (or pizza crust). Then move down the buffet style counter choosing your sauce, cheese and toppings. There is a good variety and I would guess most people can get exactly what they want. They even haveanchovies for you anchovies lovers. They bake it quickly and call you to pick it up where can get even more options for saucesto top it off. For me, it was good+. In my opinion the dough was a little undercooked. A touch soggy in the middle. Not bad butnoticeable. Maybe in the future (as I WILL surely come here again) I will see if there is an option to cook it a little longer.Even if that turns out not to be available, it is still a good pizza. The slightly undercooked issue is the ONLY reason I didn'trate it a 5. There were 4 in our party. These are the pics of the pizza we each ordered. Read more
