Ordered a large pizza......very disappointed as I am sure that there was 4 or 5 green peppers, I should have asked for pizza... with my green pepper instead......also the center wasn't cooked, it was very doughy.......also ordered garlic fingers with realbacon, well there was maybe 8 or 9 pieces of bacon on a small garlic fingers, once again very disappointing. Mediocre at best. Thick crust, despite ordering thin crust option, pepperoni was under the cheese which is always a bad idea as... the pepperoni gets soggy and people who don?t want pepperoni can?t pick it off. The cheese was marginally melted as well. Reallyreally unexceptional. After my first bite I thought ?wow I guess I should open a pizza shop in St. John if this is what isconsidered to be ?the best in town?? Read more
Vito's is such a classic, and their service is seriously out of this world. We ordered pizza and garlic fingers for delivery... last night, and everything came hot and delicious. We had ordered 2 drinks and unfortunately they were missing from the driver'sbag, and so even though the Peel location was closing for the night, our driver ran back to the restaurant and delivered ourdrinks. All with a smile on his face! He was so genuinely friendly and happy to be doing his job, he deserves a shoutout andrecognition from Vito's management. Absolutely wonderful! The establishment obviously has some years to it, and it's quite charming. The staff were warmingly... friendly from the second we walked in. We all had some version of pizza, and each one was delicious. I'm inclined to side withthe other positive reviews, though admittedly we only had a small sampling of the menu. Also, try the cheesecake. You won't bedisappointed (unless you don't like cheesecake, in which case you probably shouldn't try the cheesecake ????). Read more
Ordered a pizza, delivered to a room at a prominent hotel just 10 min away, no problem they said, it will be 40 min. After 1 1/2... h we called, they said they had to make it again, will be there in a few minutes. Its now 2 1/2h later, they don't answer theirphone and it closes in 5 min. We're going hungry tonight. I had to give them 1 star to post this, why? Read more
