Service was excellent. Portions were generous. Menu was not busy and overwhelming. Everyone's food was tastefully presented. I... had the corned beef dinner with garlic mashed taters. Delicious. They provide a carrier of sauces to dress up your meal. Veryhandy. I enjoyed a hard cider and wished I'd brought a growler home! Looking forward to returning. Read more

Great brewery located in what used to be a bank. Much of the old bank decor is incorporated in the look. The beer was good - we... didn't eat. Read more

Delicious brews and yummy food. What could be better? Mix the White and the Gold sauces together. You won't be sorry. I had the... Johnny Jump Up cider, The Strawberry Hibiscus Wheat (my fave of the four), Nectar of the Maple, and the Railyard Raspberry. Allvery yummy. All the food was great but those onion petals yo.... I'll go back just for those. Read more

We went here on a recommendation from our B&B host and she did rave about the burnt ends. They were absolutely delicious and a... highlight of the night! Unfortunately, the nacho Mac and cheese came cold and was really dry and flavorless. I ended up sendingit back for a replacement order of the smoked wings as we really enjoyed the first batch. Unfortunately, the second batch wasovercooked and tough to eat so we didn't finish them. The garlic parm fries were extremely salty. However, our waitress McKenziestole the show! She was an absolute gem the entire time and was spot on with her drink recommendations! That blackberry winespritzer was perfect! She was also really apologetic and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time which is why I'mgiving this 4 stars. I think this place has great potential if you know what to order and are patient to enjoy the ambiance. Also, the bbq sauces were delicious! Read more

We heard really good things about sj brewing so we decided we would give it a try and looking forward to try it. We had such a... wonderful waitress, she was an absolute joy! I will tell you that the chicken and waffles is-in my opinion-the absolute bestI?ve ever had! It was the whole shebang! The waffle was delicious, the chicken was outstanding and the sauce on it was out ofthis world amazing! It?s been a few weeks since we?ve been there so I don?t remember what everyone got. I can tell you that Iwasn?t impressed with the sides. They were unremarkable. I was disappointed with the burnt ends as they were pretty fatty. Butoverall the meat was good. It?s unfortunate that the food supply is jacked up for restaurants because there were a few sides wewould have rather had but they weren?t available due to the supply chain issues. Not their fault. The building is really veryquaint, we will go back. Read more

The food was some of the least pleasing food I have ever paid for. For starters the salad came out with the rest of the food,... which was already cold before it got there. Before even trying the food I could tell everything was WAY overdone. Like it wascooked the night before and sat in a heating cabinet all day. I can't begin to explain how bad the food was. The pictures willhelp explain a little but it tastes worse than it looks. I rarely do a review of a place I don't care for but this time Icouldn't not do a review. I want to save people the money and time. Rotten experience for sure. The first picture is pork"tenderloin" was crispy on the inside.. so we're the chicken wings. The only thing that was ok was the pulled chicken, and wasroom temp at best when I got it. I can cook better food on a trash can and would challenge them to a cook-off anytime anywhere.I'll bring the trash can so when I'm done cooking with it they can throw their food in it. Read more

Service was prompt and cordially. The menu has enough variety to accommodate most likes. We had the wings that were outstanding.... The burnt ends were more roast like, than burnt end like, texture. Still delicious, along with their sauces. The onions ringswere the best ever hands down. The chicken wings were the best we have had between Mackinaw City's (Rusted Spoke) and St John's.We complimented it all with the Mint City salad. It was an eclectic mix that truly complimented itself. Great find and woulddefinitely recommend. Read more
