This is a great winery in a quiet town. They have a wide selection from dry to sweet, both reds and whites...and a large... assortment of meads (I'd say semi-dry to sweet). They also have a couple very unique items, such as the jalapeño wine. Ifyou're in the area, I whole-heartedly recommend stopping by for a glass. The elderberry mead was spectacular. Dutchess was very sweet and friendly.

My husband and I have looked forward to visiting this winery after reading about them in the Wine In Illinois brochure. We had... checked out the website and facebook page and were intrigued by the wine/mead selection. We are normally dry red wine drinkersso this was a new experience for us. Tom was the friendly face that greeted us upon our arrival. He spent quality time with us,answering our questions so patiently, educating us on the history of the winery and the process of making the wines (includingthe fun of blending wines). He was super friendly and we had such fun chatting with him! We were very impressed with theseunique wines and had a hard time making our selections because there were so many we loved. That just means we?ll be making areturn visit again in the near future and someday soon look forward to opening up a bottle to enjoy at the winery. Oh and weheard mention of a possible jalapeno/chocolate blend??? Oh please say that is on the list of future blends to bottle???
