This is a great winery in a quiet town. They have a wide selection from dry to sweet, both reds and whites...and a large... assortment of meads (I'd say semi-dry to sweet). They also have a couple very unique items, such as the jalapeño wine. Ifyou're in the area, I whole-heartedly recommend stopping by for a glass. Duchess is the store mascot and, as it turns out, lovesthe inside of her ears rubbed. Thanks for your kindness and an enjoyable experience! Read more

My husband and I have looked forward to visiting this winery after reading about them in the Wine In Illinois brochure. We had... checked out the website and facebook page and were intrigued by the wine/mead selection. We are normally dry red wine drinkersso this was a new experience for us. Tom was the friendly face that greeted us upon our arrival. He spent quality time with us,answering our questions so patiently, educating us on the history of the winery and the process of making the wines (includingthe fun of blending wines). He was super friendly and we had such fun chatting with him! We were very impressed with theseunique wines and had a hard time making our selections because there were so many we loved. That just means we?ll be making areturn visit again in the near future and someday soon look forward to opening up a bottle to enjoy at the winery. Oh and weheard mention of a possible jalapeno/chocolate blend??? Oh please say that is on the list of future blends to bottle??? Ifyou are looking for a winery with a large variety of wines, reasonable prices, AMAZING customer service and a very welcomingenvironment- this is the winery for you! Read more

Such a cute little storefront with a different kind of selection of wine made from elderberry rather than traditional grapes.... Their meads are all to die for! Read more
