We stayed here for 2 nights in September. The cottage exceeded all expectations...fabulous accessibility for mobility-challenged... traveller, all the equipment needed for meal prep, and wonderful views of sealife and ships. We ate dinner at the main mill bldgone evening and it was top notch. We hope to return for a longer stay in future. Read more

I went with my family and we found it was a big meh. I had the French Onion soup, which was very salty, and my mother had the... chicken liver paté which she found very good. I had the blood sausage for the main course, which was very good, however it wasserved with 2 potatoes, 1 piece of cauliflower, and boiled broccoli, which was all bland. My mother had the pulled beef burger, which was very dry. And my father had the pasta and chicken. The pasta was either overcooked or microwaved because some of itwas hard. For dessert, my father had the mousse which was frozen and crunchy. I had the carrot cake, which was honestlyincredibly disappointing. It was dry, the frosting was tasteless and it was topped with raw shredded carrots mixed in brownsweet sauce. Very disappointed. All in all, considering all this, plus a few drinks (by the way, the local beers are sold ataround 4-5$ a can and they were charging 10$ for them) it cost 227$. Given the price, service and food, I would not recommendthis place. Read more

Great spot to stop. The menu for lunch was pretty small. The waterfall view was fantastic.

I visited this restaurant on my recent trip to l'Isle D'Orleans. My friend and I weren't very hungry, so we only had the French... onion soup. We both agreed it was the best thing we ate on our trip. The service was excellent and the patio next to thewaterfall was lovely. Hope to come back someday! Read more

Came to try this restaurant as it was a recommendation from a friend and it truly did not disappoint! It is a hidden gem on the... island with a magical view of the waterfall by the outdoor patio space. Serves traditional French food by a charming old house. The service was also great???? Read more

The best stop on our way around the island for the day. Sitting outside during lunch and listening to the waterfall, so... relaxing. Read more
