Today my friend Cheryl and I visited the Sugar Creek Country Store and 37 Pine Store locate in St. Mary, Ks. The Sugar Creek... Country Store is lovely, offering a variety of canned products, baking products all around not to mention the sweet treats forall to purchase. The deli bar offers many wonderful sandwiches side dishes and ice cream cones to finish off the meal. Everyonewelcomes you in for lunch or do a little shopping. Read more

This is such a fascinating place! As my little great grand and I looked at all the little toys I played with as a child 60... years ago. She was so fascinated by all the things she had never seen before. We purchased few little things that were of mychildhood era. We picked up a bag of "homemade" brownie mix. I love this shop they have a wide variety of foods snacks, candies jams and many things you probably won't find any where... else in Kansas , they also have an amazing selection of sandwiches that are made with premium meats and cheese . Wasn't sure what to expect when I walked in the door. Old timey general store look with a modern twist of tons of cooking spices... and baking ingredients. A totally cool idea to have a deli inside the general store. The sandwich I had was great tasting. Theydon't skimp on filling up the sandwich but the additional sides are lacking in quantity and i might suggest the side picklespears need to be buried out back, too squishy! Overall, the atmosphere brought up my review to a 5 because my experience withthe employees were excellent. Don't be afraid to stop here for a step back in time. Read more
Visited this establishment with my parents the Saturday after Thanksgiving and it was a charming little place. My mom picked up... some old-fashioned licorice. There was a nice little deli and several people sitting at tables enjoying a meal. Easily thebest establishment on the main drag. Read more
