Fantastic in every way. My 7-year-old daughter and I had gotten a flat tire on a bike ride so we were not dressed for the... occasion by any means, but we were treated like honored guests despite our sweaty biking outfits. The food was outstanding,presentation was top notch. The whole dining experience read superb. I highly recommend this restaurant for fine dining in St.Michaels. The decor invokes Paris but the menu ranges far and wide. Being partial to Cajun cuisine, I had the gumbo and it wassuperb. The dark chocolate mousse for desert made the day complete. My daughter said we had to go back for an overnight stay anddress up properly for our next visit. Can't say enough good things about this place. The staff was out of this world. Loved it.Go. Lovely place with delicious food we sat out back in a newly open patio area. The shrimp and grits were supremely seasoned and... so delicious with just enough heat and spice. The oyster pot pie was sublime with a beautiful thick layered crust plenty ofoysters, turnips and spinach in a creamy broth, just so wonderful. From our table we watched the kitchen staff all evening. The kitchen was spotless and the chef and cooks were calm and rhythmic.... We saw the care they put into their dishes! Wow- this bistro is incredibly upscale. The food is fresh; the plates are beautiful. The special tonight was rockfish with... eggplant in a gentle red sauce. Every bite compliments the next. This is a master chef. Get your reservation. It’s worth it.And don’t forget dessert. We had wonderful chocolate mousse and and creme brûlée.
