We had a wonderful off season (early Oct) dining experience at Ruse. The food is eclectic, high quality, and most importantly,... tasty. The wine list has decent options in various price ranges. They were out of our original bottle but recommended anotherthat was a little more expensive and delightful. Our service was a little off but it being off season and an unusually busynight, we give this place the benefit of the doubt. The food, as stated, was terrific. Best dinner out we've had in a long time! The oysters were great- we had both an assortment of raw and the broiled which were... out of this world! We also had the swordfish and the scallops and we savored every delicious bite! The staff was amazing and soattentive; we had Hannah and Allie who both offered great suggestions and were a delight. OUTSTANDING!!! We came down for the weekend from Philly and I was pleasantly surprised to have city quality food in a small... town. The dishes were unique and flavorful. The roasted oysters (basically crack), eggplant and the peach blue crab gazpachowere our favorites. WE WILL BE BACK. Read more
Ruse was absolutely delicious. Everything as fresh and very tasty. The duck specifically was out of this world. Our server was... also lovely. We sat on the patio which made for the perfect ambiance to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. Willabsolutely come back and recommend to friends! Read more

We had heard very positive opinions of the restaurant from several “foodies”. Had a great dinner. Firstly, the restaurant... had great energy. We wanted an outdoor table and hung out for a drink at the bar. The drinks and staff were great. We had anice outdoor table and had a tasting of the fall menu. We shares an excellent fall” salad followed by a roasted cabbage dishwith amazing fall flavors. My duck was excellent and my wife halibut were equally delicious! Strongly recommend! Read more
