4.5 stars. The food was amazing. I had the Mahi Mahi with roasted vegetables and enjoyed every bite. My husband had the short... ribs over risotto and we both audibly gasped at how good it was. The wine list looked decent, but we didn’t try any. I’malways weary of a wine list that features grocery store brands (Kendall Jackson, and Josh cellars). I’m only deducting half astar because the bread was clearly not made in house and I didn’t feel like the food was distinctly Argentinian. Overall itwas a good experience with excellent service. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Alex gave excellent service. The food was great and we even got... empanadas for the next day for breakfast. They were made fresh and we even got cooking instructions. We will be back. Greatfresh food in a friendly atmosphere. Read more

We had an absolutely amazing dinner. We have tried to get in here but our schedule would not let us. We were so excited to... finally to stop in for dinner. We were so delirious in our meal choices. The waiter Alex was so helpful with his suggestions onwhat to order he did an awesome job. The lamb and diced beef Empanadas were homemade, fresh and delicious. We also tried thegrilled Argentinian sausage also homemade with Chimichurri sauce it was delicious. I had the Pancetta wrapped scallops withbutternut squash risotto. My husband had the Ribeye and the linguine with bolognese sauce. He said the meat was the perfecttemperature and seasoned to perfection and had extra Merlot salt on the side dor an added burst of flavor. The pasta was cookedwell and the tomato based sauce great and he loved that it had a bit of wine for flavor. We shared the dulce de Leche cheesecakefor dessert. It was so soft and creamy and not overly sweet it was the perfect balance. We can’t wait to go back to eat here.I wish our schedule would have let us go sooner. This will definitely be the first place we come to the next time we are in thearea. Don’t miss out stopping in for a meal or even some appetizers like the empanadas. Read more
Great eats! The only reason for the 4 stars is our waiter was just "ok" Super nice, just could barely hear him- extremely soft... spoken. Didn't check on us often and never refilled or offered to refill drinks. The food was incredible. Go for the food!!!Definitely worth it. Read more
Del Sur was my favorite restaurant by far on St. Simons for the longest time. My husband and I went there tonight and the only... thing great was our server Alex. He was attentive and kind with every bit of hospitality you would want. Our food was adifferent story. Chicken Marsala (in picture) tasted like noodles soaked in chicken broth. No taste, no flavor. My husband hadthe linguine and we could have made better pasta at home. It was extremely disappointing as we have been excited to come hereeach time we visit. I don’t know if management has changed or what’s going on but my favorite restaurant is no longer thatanymore. Read more
Great place to stop in St. Simons if you want upscale food. Service was excellent, made you feel like part of the family. Food... was superb, however portion size was a little small for the price in my opinion. For example, the menu said the salmon came withasparagus but when the plate came out it was literally one stalk of asparagus cut in half... the bacon wrapped scallops were thebest I've had.
