The food was imaginative and well prepared. Dinner was served minutes after ordering by an endless stream of cheerful, polite... and professional delivery girls. BUT our waitress Chris was the star of the show. Not enough stars in the choices of only 5.She was simply a pleasure. Funny, engaging, and a first rate dinner coach as she guided us through the menu. A comfortable pro. Can’t wait to see her again Read more

My wife and I have recently moved to the area from Atlanta via New York and have been eating at all the local restaurants... throughout st Simone’s and Brunswick. I have to say we have discovered the very best restaurant by far in their area thus farin (Ember). The food was outstanding, the service impeccable and the price no different than surrounding restaurants. As aprevious restaurant owner and chef I am blown away by this jewel in the heart of st Simone’s. Freshest ingredients andprepared perfectly. We will be back again and again. Read more

Inside the unique environment of ember, guests are greeted with a menu that supports all kinds of budgets. There are pizzas from... $10-20 and other entrees that are mostly in the upper $30s. We had the lamb lollipops for appetizer and they were cooked andseasoned well. For my entree, I chose the redfish, which came with fontina grits and some other veggies. I really enjoyed thecarrots because they were cooked through and had a sweet taste. For dessert, I had the crisp. They used peaches in the dessert, which were not burnt and were perfectly soft. We have friends that live Ember, but our experience didn't meet the hype. The service and ambience were decent, but not great.... They have a happy hour, but it is only $1 off their $12 cocktails, which feels gimmicky. The food was fantastic and the portionswere good, but 2 of our 3 appetizers were underwhelming (the egg roll app is literally one egg role). Would we go back? No, Idon't think so. For the price point, I prefer Halyard's. Read more

Ember is in a strip mall and looks very dark from the outside. Inside looks hip with fun lighting and interesting art. Our... waiter was great and attentive at first but then seemed to get busy and forgot about us towards the end which was no biggie. Ihad the scallops with tomato mushroom risotto and it was out of this world. We’d eaten seafood all over the island all weekand this was my favorite! Would definitely recommend Ember for a super cool and delicious dining experience. Read more

It's in a shopping center. When you enter from the parking lot it is SO dark. All the curtains were closed. The food was... very good. The server was great and helpful with the baby too. The cocktails were nice. We were lucky to get a reservation atbusy spring break. Read more

Everything I wanted it to be! Farm to fire says it all. Everything was delicious! Incredible ambiance! Great menu! The tuna... tower, taters, and egg rolls were my fav appetizers, and the short rib is a great main course, but let’s talk pizza. I mean, fire bread. *drool* The fire kissed crust really makes a difference y’all. So good. We had the meatzilla, green, & Cuban. Theywere all so good I don’t think I could pick a favorite. For dessert, the pot de creme is a delicious gluten free option, butthe Eula May pan fried sour cream pound cake made this southern girl’s heart go pitter patter. (That means I loved it.) Read more

What a find! We sat at the bar and had an amazing time with Austin and the other patrons. The cocktails are crafty, the bottle... wine list solid, & the food is DELICIOUS Read more
