What a fabulous restaurant! My spouse and I ate their recently on back-to-back nights and found it delightful both times. My... fresh pan-seared grouper the first evening and snapper the next were exquisite. My spouse's salmon was every bit as fresh andperfectly prepared. The Low Country crab soup with chives was likewise superb. And don't forget the scrumptious chocolatecoconut cake! This is Coastal Georgia dining at its finest and we highly recommend it. Read more

My wife and I decided to try Georgia Sea Grill for our anniversary. Although it wasn't a flawless experience, I'd still 100%... recommend GSG to anyone, and I'm sure my wife and I will be back. - The ambiance at GSG is warm and low key, which we liked. -Our cocktails were great, tasty and a respectable size. (I hate places with tiny cocktails) - We ordered calamari, which wassome of the best we've ever had (both of us are from the coast). - My wife ordered the fresh catch grouper, which she loved. Ihad the fried catfish, which descent but smaller than I expected. - Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. - Thetotal cost for the evening was around $100 +tip, which we felt was appropriate. Comments: Our table would wobble if I leaned onit the wrong way, and I am not a heavy guy. Our service was great for most of the meal, but our drinks (cocktails and water)could have used more attention during our main course. Read more

What a great place to eat if you want something that’s delicious and right in the middle of St. Simons. My family and I went... here over Fourth of a July weekend. We all enjoyed an array of foods from their menu including shrimp, pork, and fish. We triedappetizers and soups as well. Everything was great, however, there was a mix up with our food. They took care of the mix up witha complimentary salad. That was very much appreciated. Landon was an amazing server and was very knowledgeable about the menu.Thank you Georgia Sea Grill! 10/10! Upscale restaurant in pier village on Saint Simon's Island featuring myriad seafood dishes. All prepared pleasingly and served... professionally. Nice live piano music in the background adds a touch of class. Food was good, staff was friendly, service wastop notch. Make reservations well in advance or take your chance at the bar. Read more

Wow! Where do I start. This restaurant is amazing. I am local to the area and my job is to recommend restaurants on the island.... Although I had never been, I would always list GA Sea Grill as my top 3 on the island based off Google reviews and word ofmouth. I finally had the pleasure of dining here myself and what an experience. My recommendation did not disappoint meeither. We had a reservation, walked in and were seated right away. I wanted to get the full experience so I ordered a margaritaand my friend a glass of wine. Drinks were brought out quickly with water as well as bread for the table. I ordered the Escargotand the Cornmeal Dusted Oysters which were superb. The oysters had just enough breading and the pork belly gave it that extrakick along with the dipping sauce. I am a huge fan of Escargot and these were the best I have had. For dinner my friend had theBacon Poached Salmon. She said "this is how you know salmon is cooked perfectly" and she proceed to slide her knife at differentangles with the fish separating apart like butter. She ate every bite. I had the Herb Crusted Lamb Racks with whipped potatoesand asparagus; what a treat! The Mint Demi-Glace created an explosion of flavor that I can even describe. Our server Justin wasvery attentive and we never had to look for him. The Piano Bar area where we were seated was a really nice touch. For a datenight or a special anniversary I would suggest the main dining room as it was just a little loud but this was expected. I lookforward to going back to this restaurant and sending more of my guest here. Read more

The calamari had an absolutely amazing flavor. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I really loved the environment and live... pianist. The scallops dish was not worth ordering again. The beans were on the side of dry and the dish overall was onlymediocre. I do look forward to returning to try another dish next time! Read more

Make a reservation and go enjoy their delicious menu (seriously good)full of great food. Our sever was fun, outgoing, and great... with service. My wife and I had two different salmon meals. Both of which were delicious. We also had calamari and hushpuppies. Skip the hush puppies as they are a bit dry, but definitely try the moist calamari. My wife had a specialty martiniand I had a dirty martini and a local ipa beer. All of which was good. As for water grab the bottled water. The tap waterisn’t wonderful, but if you are going here you should get the tap water anyway. Parking can be tight, so if you are near bywalk! Go enjoy this place. The service and food is awesome! Definitely make a reservation if you want superb service and an incredible experience! We will be back every time we come back... to visit SSI! Sweet special touch when we arrived seeing on our table a card signed from staff wishing us a Happy Anniversary.Highly recommend to anyone looking for a special night. Got the crab stuffed hushpuppies appetizer, a couple small plates: newgrassroots farms pulled pork egg roll (more like a burrito!) and the lightly dusted cornmeal fried oysters were to die for and Idon't even like oysters! Main entrees: shrimp and grits and herb-crusted lamb racks with crème brulée for desert! (& a pecanpie to go) Everything tasted incredible. Thank you Georgia Sea Grill for a special night! Read more
