Fantastic meal with amazing service. Don't remember my servers name (maybe Carol?) but she had said she worked there for 15... years?? We were sitting at our table for more than a few minutes before she came and said "I got you, you're my table now!"Everything was amazing. Good excuse to dress up. Had a wonderful adults only dinner out here. Menu is a touch light, but the quality of every dish at the table was amazing, so... rather do less things great than more things mediocre. Eating outside was very nice even in the heat thanks to all the shade andfans. Service by Derrick was awesome along with the rest of the staff. The pot stickers were a specific hit from the appetizerside and the flounder was a very unique and tasty entree. Everyone left very full and satisfied. Read more
Excellent cuisine. Had the Southern Fried Chicken that sat upon Pimento Cheese Grits w/spinach that had a butter-hot sauce... glaze. Very good stuff. Our party also had Short Ribs Dinner, the Korean Ramen Noodle Dinner, Korean-style Salmon, and theSeared Yellow Fin Tuna all prepared to a very high quality. Ice tea was on point. The service was excellent from two differentservers. Dessert was delicious. A sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere made for a great dining experience. I've been here plenty of times and have always really enjoyed it. Servers have always been nice and never seemed pretentious.... Some upscale places are rude or assuming about young customers. The food is always good, good service, good drinks, etc.Compared to other upscale spots around, like Dorothy's, I think they have great portions for food and drinks at their pricepoint (which I would say isn't too much at all for what you get). I had a great experience for my anniversary. Carol served usand she was super nice. They didn't disappoint on any aspect of the experience. I definitely recommend! Read more
The calamari apps were absolutely amazing! We had a couple of dishes with risotto and both were very over cooked. Risotto was... very mushy. Other than the risotto, it was a very pleasant experience. Our waiter was great! Read more

Everything we had at Halyards was outstanding, and everything else on the menu that we didn’t order looked equally as... attractive. We experienced excellent service (thank you Carol) and generally had a very enjoyable dinner. Dave the owner does awonderful job from start to finish; unique menu options that are locally sourced and high quality (you can taste it), a nicesetting, and a staff that cares about the customers. Thanks and we’ll definitely be back when we return to St. Simons. Read more
