The most unexpected absolute jewel of a restaurant anywhere, right in the heart of Ste. Agathe. The decor, the music, the... greeting by the owner, the layout of the resto - all perfect. That's before the food. Caesar salad was a solid 9.5/10 lackingjust that garlic/caper/anchovy zing that I love Next up were the sweetbreads with roasted veggies - this was a killer 10/10 Nextis dessert so that will follow! Just...wow. Beautiful ambiance, and the selection was wonderful. We started with the oysters and the grilled octopus...both... paired perfectly to accentuate the dishes. Husband had the short rib, which was tender and delicious. I had the halibut whichwas a daily special. Both were spectacular. We aren't normally dessert people, but decided to share a crème de citron. Best choice ever...so light and delicate, we absolutely demolished the plate. My wife and I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in to the time we left we felt important... to the staff. The service was incredible! The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable! We had the lamb and filet mignon.This was the most delicious meal we have ever had! So fresh and full of flavour! Definitely a must stop! Make sure you book areservation! Even though this restaurant is 9 hours from where we live, we will definitely be back! Read more

Excellent menu, original presentation mixed with traditional French cooking, in a traditional bistrot setting. Excellent... service. However, the chef was too busy to make a simple substitution to accommodate my friend's dietary restriction. Ourserver also forgot my nut allergy restriction in serving a plate with nuts, although we caught the error in time and the issuewas corrected. Clean and neat restaurant. The food was great. Instead of variety of menu they offer some descent menu of the day: dish of the... chef, today's spaghetti and today?s fish. Fresh ingredients.
