We stayed at the Aberge Chateau Lamantagne while vacationing in September. The suite was Fantastic. Very clean, the bed was... comfortable and the hospitality was awesome. We dined in the restaurant...the food was 5 Star and reasonably priced. The younglady and gentleman who served us were outstanding. The dining room was full for good reason. A very classy place with anamazing view from the hill overlooking the St. Lawrence. A great place to stay!! Read more

We spent one night 19 Aug in one of the rooms on the 2nd floor. Nice room in a distinctive old building with great ocean views.... I wouldn't say the staff were welcoming, they never asked our feedback or how things were going-nothing. A bit odd for a smallauberge. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Another downside is that there is noise from the first floor bar/restaurant. Evenafter the restaurant closed, there was talking noise-I am not sure if it was staff downstairs or guests. If my stay would havebeen two nights, I would have booked the free standing chalets. Read more

lots of pros and cons for the room I got. Pros: very nice view of St Lawrence river, clean room, confy bed, breakfast included.... Cons: small room, very small bathroom for about $200 a night in high season, half of the room has very low ceiling (3 to 4 feet,my family banged their head many times), 20 steps stairs to get to the room, gravel parking (cannot roll luggage). The building is beautiful and the room was a lot better than expected, but the service is another level of terrible. The entire... peninsula lacks people who are willing to work, a lot of the employees they get are very much the bottle of the barrel, peoplewho can?t make it out of town. Right when I came the staff told me I didn?t have a reservation, until I went through theircalendar to find my name. They also only allowed their French speaking patrons to dine, and told us that we were only allowed toget room service. Overall, I?d say this place has a lot of potential, but the lack of working population really brings down thequality (The women that served breakfast was very nice though) Read more

Very nice building inside and out. The view is super nice and there are spaces for eating outside and enjoying the view. The... breakfast was acceptable for the covid time. The bed is too old and making noises, the walls are not isolated and there were notissues or waste in the room. But overall it's a nice and unique place to stay and enjoy the ambiance. Le restaurant étaittrès bon avec un bon service. La table d'hôte est 8$ plus que le prix du repas principal. Read more

Beautiful auberge on the edge of the shore with amazing views. Nice breakfast in the morning with a nice bar for a local beer... later in the day. Rooms are clean and appear to be freshly renovated. Stayed here for 2 nights while sightseeing around thearea. Would definitely recommend! Read more
