Applebees does have really great tasting food, but they lack in the customer service dept. My husband and I had order an... appetizer and drinks. I ordered a L.I.T and he a pepsi. His drink arrived quickly and I waited around 8mins for my drink.Appetizer came with our food because waitress did not submit the appetizer until we put our order in (laziness). I guess sheonly wanted to make one trip to the kitchen. The waitress never came back to our table to refill our drinks or to see if weneeded anything. There could have been more money spent as I intended on drinking more LIT @$7.50 each. I had to eat my dinnerwith out anything to drink. Even after finishing eating and stacking our plates on the table when she came to pick the plates upshe didnt offer to fill our drinks only asked if we wanted our check. Applesbees must pay their wait staff very well as theydont seem to even try to earn a tip. This is the last time I will be visiting an Applesbees restaurant. I've had too manyunpleasant visits there and with the price of the food being what it is, the service should be at least decent. These waitressjust dont care. Ive been to Applebees in Mount Vernon and in Salem and the last few visits have been terrible when it comes tothe wait staff. Read more
Service was excellent, our waitress was so nice and she was bartending too and ran her butt off all night long with a smile the... entire time! The food was amazing! Many people wouldn't think you could get a dive star meal at 9-10 at night but when we wentthe food was excellent! Kudos to the chef bc the flavors were so savory and delicious! We did the two for $30 deal and kidsmeals. Overall our experience was fantastic and we are now fancy like Applebee's! Read more
I love Applebee's but I will never return to the one in Salem. The waitress seemed more interested in serving and flirting than... getting a tip. The food was not as we ordered it. If you like your steaks dry and wait on your drinks forever this place isperfect for you. Read more
Do not try the garlicky green beans there's no garlic flavor to them.
Food was OK- pretzel sticks were FANTASTIC. I can?t help it- they?re my fave. On the road for a long time and Desi was a bright... and cheery soul. Glad to have had her as our server. That?s what the 5 stars are for. Keep on rocking it girl! Read more
Masks don't seem to be required while not at table. Menu is different here versus other applebees we've been to lately. Food was... ok. Service was great. There was no wait at 4 pm on a Friday afternoon. Read more
The food was good but amount is getting less and less for the price . Bill was messed up calculated tried to explain to them... that $15.99 for half of ribs with one side was how it was suppose to be but they charged us 15.99 for ribs like 2.99 for friesand 3.98 for Mac an cheese soda 3.09 for soda times that by 2 , bill was $51.00 for night well it used to be low 40's and weusually had leftovers Read more
