To many Kids working I have been here twice in the last month and the kids working has screwed up our order. Pizza man needs... some Adult Management to make sure the Kids working does their job RIGHT! Not halfway. Very disappointed. Searched this restaurant online and drove 30 minutes. Was told they haven't had a buffet for 2... years....though they still have it listed on their posted menu...big sign above the counter. Read more
I was not expecting the pizza to be so good! little cracker crust, so light and crispy, I got the Salem Special pizza. tasted... like my favorite pizza joint from back home. wings were amazing also, tender crispy wings with hot sauce on the side. justamazing pizza joint in Salem, IL. Read more
Great local pizza place. We were traveling through and had a pizza and wings delivered to our hotel. Superb cracker crust for... the Little Egypt special pizza. Wings were spicy and not dripping with sauce; next time I?ll consider ordering dipping sauce orblue cheese alongside. Note the large is too much for two people! A medium would have been perfect. 2021: Although I was disappointed that the buffet wasn't back yet, I still got my Salem Special! My husband (who doesn't eat any... peppers, olives, etc.) was thrilled with all the cheese on the pepperoni pizza. ???? 2019: This is my absolute favorite pizzaplace, and I've lived all over the country. I especially love the buffet, which has a great variety of toppings in interestingcombinations. 2017: I always get a Salem Special when I'm home visiting family! I ordered carry out today and was firstly informed that their online menu was not accurate to their actual menu so I could not... order what I originally wanted. No big deal, I figured I?d just get a pan pizza for my wife and I. I was then informed that theyno longer have a large so I would have to go with a medium. I figured a medium with a family salad would be enough food. When Iarrived, my total was $33 which is significantly more than their posted menu but I was told that it wasn?t accurate and it?s notthe employee?s so I went with it without complaint. When I got home and opened my pizza, however, I was greeted with somethingakin to a Pizza Hut personal pie I got as a child for free for getting an A in school. Additionally, the pizza was mediocre atbest.The salad was fine, the service was good, but I heavily recommend no one order a pan pizza from here unless you want towildly overpay for what amounts to a Tostitos pizza.
