Used to be a huge fan of this place, would recommend the chicken strips to anyone that would listen. Something changed during... the pandemic and those chicken strips have never tasted nor looked the same. I was given a sour pickled radish that was justawful. Didn't taste anywhere close to what it did. Would not check this spot out Read more

I drop by Bonchon every time I'm in Salem. Highly recommend any kind of wings (my favorite is soy garlic) and fries. The pork... belly in the pork buns is very good, but they need something more, like mayo, green onion, hoison, etc., something besides bunand pork belly. Read more

What happened to the traditional Korean chicken? Always used to go here and loved the boneless strips that were moist and... flavorful, they used to be un-breaded and double fried I believe? I just stopped in for the first time in a while and got thesame order as usual but the chick is just standard breaded chicken tenders that I could get anywhere? Bonchon used to be adestination for me because of its special food so this is very disappointing. They were also very conservative on the saucesfor both the chicken and potstickers I ordered. ??????????? Read more

???? ???? I ordered the boneless fried chicken, half original and half spicy. They tasted nothing like the fried chicken I used... to eat in South Korea. The chicken was toooooo dry, and usually the spicy chicken is saucy. Very disappointed, would adviseKoreans from Korea or anyone who used to live in Korea to not eat here because they?d be disappointed as well. ?? Read more

I ordered fried chicken mix with bulgogi and Japchae. The order total was around $63. It's not worth the money. There are many... other places to have a better meal for less. First off, the fried chicken was at best mediocre; it's dry and the batter isn'tfluffy. It's similar to an over fried Buffalo Wild Wings take out. The good thing about the chicken was some pieces were big.Bulgogi was disappointing for a dish at $18 - 4 oz of boiled beef, not grilled. In all fairness, japchae was alright, but Iwouldn't not go back for it. Overall, I do not recommend this place because your money can be spent better elsewhere. Read more

The chicken was over cooked and dry but, the sauce was great. The takoyaki was pretty good and larger than I had expected. The... tteokbokki was good a little too spicy than I've had before. Service was good. Read more
