Wow! This food was absolutely amazing. We had to wait about 15 minutes in a line outside the restaurant before getting pulled in... by a very friendly host to our table of 6. October in Salem means busy- they were short-staffed but they do an amazing job, the food was good, and the cocktails were... fantastic. People behind us were jerks and didn't deserve their food being comped- it was embarrassing to see the way theybehaved towards the server. Read more

The place is nice, nice decorations however the food and the service was horrible. The food had no flavor, it tasted like... something made in microwave by a lazy person. We got the chicken tacos and a few other things, and the tacos were saggy from thelettuce, lettuce was dripping water, and looked mushy, nacho plate had no flavor, breast chicken looked nasty, no tastewhatsoever, the tortillas were cheap quality, it was just very an unpleasant experience. overall I would give this place -1. Location and outdoor patio is good, the food not so much. We ordered 2 different combos so we can try as much as possible and... all of the items on the combo plates tasted absolutely the same ( and looked equally sad) - tasteless, no spices of any kind,soggy. Me and my boyfriend ordered the Baja fish/ Shrimp tacos Both tacos were dry the fish felt reheated. The rice that came with the... platter Looked like it was a week old, and the beans look like they are freezer burned, Definitely not authentic food. Loving this place! If you?re looking for authentic medican food, Casa Tequila is the best. There are so many menu options and... combinations. Their chips are one of the best. Their guac is creamy! Their drinks are delish and the restaurant design is sopretty. I love going there in the summer, sit on the patio enjoying the fountain and live music. Read more

The outside is beautiful. When you walk into the restaurant you may be confused! Very plain looking, but go upstairs! There are... two more levels! The bar upstairs has great ambience and the drinks are well made. Free chips and salsa is always a plus!Margaritas come in large glasses and worth the price. Read more
