Food was really good, service was great and atmosphere was super cute. Ordered the lobster roll with chowder and the pretzel... bites as an app. Lobster roll was super stuffed with lobster and chowdwe was very yummy! Pretzel bites themselves were reallygood but I wasn't the biggest fan of the beer cheese. Overall worth the visit if you are in the area. Read more
Everything here was absolutely outstanding!! My husband & I were thoroughly impressed by how great the drinks & food were!... Honestly, the BEST Flatbread I have ever had! I high recommend the Sausage Ricotta Row Flatbread! My husband got the Lobstergrilled cheese & was over the moon! It just melts in your mouth!! For drinks we got Apples 2 Apples- apple cider with CaptainMorgan..Delicious!! & one of the most incredible things of our visit was Jake!! Jake was taking care of every table, the bar,running food, & even answering the phone!! He was super friendly & remained a lot more calm than most would in his position!Thank you for making the first stop of our honeymoon unforgettable!! We will definitely be back before we leave!! The food was absolutely delicious however the customer service was not very good. Our waitress disappeared and didn't come back... until after someone else helped us and we had finished our meal. When we did interact with her she was not very nice and made usregret stopping here. If we come back we will probably do take out instead. Read more
Recently I?ve been trying to go out more to bars and Restaurants as the Covid 19 pandemic settles down. My girlfriend and I live... next door to Salem and decided to take a night out and get something to eat. After looking at highly reviewed places, westumbled across Longboards. With great reviews and photos we decided to give it a shot. Upon entrance we were greeted by a hostwho seated us immediately at a high table. Following that we were provided a menu and assistance to access the drink menu via QRcode. We decided to go on a night that the Celtics were playing so we knew to expect a decent crowd. The bar energy was greatalong with people at other tables watching the game and socializing. Im relatively new to the bar experience but this wassomething I was highly comfortable being a part of. Didn?t feel like we stuck out of the crowd at all. The service was quick aswe ordered food and drinks. The 10 piece buffalo wings were a 8/10 (could?ve been a little crispier) and the burgers were a 7/10(could?ve been a bit thicker of a patty. was also a little dry). I ordered a Shipwrecked (Ro&Co Whisky, Koval Ginger Liqueur,Lemonade & Sprite) which was strong even after it was mixed and watered down which gives it a rating of 7/10. What makes thisexperience a 4/5 stars is the great service and the lively atmosphere. A little more work can be put into the food and drinksbut overall I?m not walking away with a bad experience. I can definitely see myself coming back here and would recommend foranyone looking for a good place for a night out on the town. Always pleased with my experiences at longboards. They have all your favorite beers and can make all your favorite drinks and... have full kitchen with tons of choices. I?m not sure if they fry anything at all but I never saw anything on the menu that wasfried which is great for people trying to be healthy and not eat a ton of fried food. I got the chicken park sandwich (which wasbaked) and that came with tater tots (which were also baked). Everything was delicious and still had a nice crisp as if it wereactually fried. The pretzel sticks were delicious as an appetizer and I also tried the chicken bacon ranch pizza which was fullof flavor and cooked perfectly. The food here pleasantly surprised me! It was very good. The French onion soup was perfect for a cold rainy day. The Cali club... sandwich was outstanding, one of the best I've ever had. The Caesar salad was tasty and so was the clam chowder. The staff wasfriendly and we would definitely return next time we're in the area. Read more
Tried their lobster roll. It was very fresh and they don't overly sauce the lobster. It really let's the flavor of the lobster... come through. Perfectly cook tater totes, with a delicious slightly spicy dipping sauce. Very nice size drinks. Everyone at ourtable was head over heels for the dessert this restaurant sells. It has a special name, but it is basically a large chocolatechip cookie cooked in a cast iron skillet. They bring it out still hot with ice cream on top, and caramel and hot fudge drizzledon top.
