Super disappointed with the pizza we got. Overcooked, barely warm, super dry, cracked crust because it was so dry and delivery... showed up 20 minutes after 50 delivery time given. We have ordered from them many times and it's always been good. Called tolet them know what we got and the late delivery time and all they said is they would let the manager know. Don't think we willever be ordering from Pizza World in Salem ever again. Very disappointed in all aspects. Read more

The food is AWFUL and the staff is WORSE!! Spent the day in Swampscott with my Father. While driving I saw this resturant on the... side of the road. I said to my Father, "I would like to go here for Dinner". So at dinnertime, we drove to Pizza World in Salem,MA. Now the name itself is silly. But I didn't let that effect my decision to eat there. When we arrived at the resturant Igrabbed a menu and looked at what they offered. Prices were high. The only interesting and cool thing about this resturant wastheir coupons. They had 16 permanent coupons that offer great deals. I ended up ordering #16. Which was 1 large sub, 1 smallcheese pizza and a 20oz bottle of soda. I had to wait about 15-20 minuets. Not bad. But what happened during the wait was notprofessional. After ordering my Father and I sat down at the table and waited. Around 5 minutes I got asked personal questionsabout my attire and what I did for work. Small talk or not, it's none of of a strangers buisness. The cashier and cook made acomment about my face mask. Asking me if I was still afraid of COVID-19. I told them I was wearing my face mask to protect notonly myself, but others. I was then told by the cashier I would be given a bag of ice and should go to Alaska. Extremelyinappropriate and unprofessional. When the chef was cooking a different order, the customer was asking for specific thingsthings to things to his order. Like not wanting his sub cut in half. The cashier then said to this Indian customer, "my cooksdon't like being watched". Disgusting attitude towards a customer. Furthermore, I don't know if the cook was overload or what,but he wrapped my sub with the same paper plate that was used to transport the RAW, UNCOOKED steak to the grill. Unsanitary anddisgusting. Stopped there just because my storage unit isn't far from there and was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious. The pizza... ( multiple toppings for several of us, mozzarella sticks, and a copious amount of fries, had plenty of leftovers! Willdefinitely be visiting there again!!! Read more

I have been picking up food at Pizza World for 5 months. My work takes me to Salem MA, often and I know I can get great pizza. I... love the pizza's cheese and sauce and you can tell it's made with great ingredients. Front end staff is always extremelyfriendly and helpful when ordering. I just met the new owner and we talked about his new business. The new owner makes terrificpizza like the other managment. I actually like the crust better now. I am very picky about my pizza and will keep going herefor the cheese slices I am in the EMS field so sometimes I am on the run to get food and Pizza World always has slicesavailable. Read more

Pizza was very delicious and crispy. But ny pasta alfredo barely had sauce! I was just eating plain cooked noodles with broccoli... and chicken on the side. I love pasta alfredo and this broke my heart. They stingy with the sauce????????. I kept on eating thepasta to see if it would change but just never did.
