The food, atmosphere and service was excellent! We ordered the fried onion "strings" as an appetizer. They were hand breaded and... delicious with an ample portion. It was difficult to resist the temptation to devour them and spoil our appetite for ourentrees. My wife ordered the baked scallops and I had the "Connecticut style" lobster roll (warm claw meat in butter on a NewEngland hot dog roll) for our entrees. She chose the fried Brussels sprouts for her side and I picked the wilted greens withbacon Although the combination of flavors in the Brussels sprouts was a bit surprising, a little candied blue cheese, they wereboth still delicious. The lobster and scallops were also very fresh and delicious. They had a small but interesting selection oflocal draft beers that changes all the time. I tried the lager from the Notch brewery just down the street and it waswonderful. This is a mostly covered open air restaurant right in the heart of the witch district with decent parking. Spent a week in Salem and liked this place so much we had it twice ????. The Clam Chowder is delicious, especially when mixed... with fries & curds! Lobster Rolls were fantastic and my daughter loved the Mac & Cheese. My husband liked the beer selection andI enjoyed the Perfect Storm. The 2nd visit was much busier than the 1st but Sean did an excellent job of keeping up witheverything. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, however, the service was quite slow. So the only reason why it got 4 stars. The pull pork was... absolutely delicious, however, very messy and bottom bun very soggy. It broke apart instantly. I liked it. My sister liked herfish and chips. UPDATE: owner comment back and I didn?t notice I put 3 stars. 4 stars! Thanks for the reply back! Amazing little bar! Hannah (I think that was her name) was absolutely amazing and sweet. I was referred to come try this spot... and get the lobster grilled cheese. OMG! 10/10! I was visiting from Texas and ended up sitting at this bar for 5 hours talkingto the most amazing people! Also tried the clam chowder here. Was pretty good. A little more on the soupy side than creamy butwas still good! Read more
The staff was friendly and super kind and the food was unbelievably good. The drinks were mix just right and the ambience and... atmosphere was awesome. I had a party of five and all of us ladies had a wonderful meal and a really good time. The prices weregreat too! Read more
Came here on a Wednesday night, loved it so much we came right back for lunch on Thursday! Our food was piping hot and... everything was fresh and tasted fantastic.
