Terrible service!!! The restuarant had seats available at the bar but Jada went out of her way to tell the bartender not to let... us order drinks. The Bartender asked Jada ?why?? because clearly there were seats available and she whispered something in hisear. After sitting down they asked us to leave for no good reason. I haven?t been this disrespected at any restaurant in myentire life! Jake at the front was also terrible and didn?t want us to sit at the bar but it was Jada that went out of her wayto have us kicked out. And what was the reasons when I asked? Because ?we?re not taking any new customers?. And I asked what?sthe problem to order a drink at the bar when you have empty seats? And they could not answer my question. What kind of bar thathas empty seats asks someone to leave? Mind you we were well dressed and polite just coming in for a drink and they asked us toget up and leave. These people should not be working at a fine restaurant. Was it because of our ethnic nationalities? I?venever heard of a bar kicking people out of their seats because ?we?re not taking more customers.? That?s a terrible excuse.These people should be ashamed and the owner should do something about it. What a terrible experience! My husband got the lobster Mac n cheese, could have been a little bit more lobster in it. I got the surf & turf and the sauce... was great! Potatoes were a little on the average side. My son got the French dip and the bread was huge but he said it wasreally good. Finished off desert with creme brulee, sundae & chocolate mouse cake... all were good! Read more
Stopped in for a round of drinks. Got a blackberry tequila mule and it was outstanding. Ambience is very vintage/antique.... Fiancé got a martini and a maple bourbon mule and thoroughly enjoyed both. Ordered Parmesan truffle fries and they were to diefor! Staff was very attentive. Will be back! Read more
We were in the area and stopped in for a late lunch. Staff was super friendly and the hotel is beautiful. We ordered the chips... with truffle parmesan which were delicious. We also ordered the bolognese and fancy grilled cheese which were great as well.Highly recommend the Witches Brew cocktail! Read more

Really enjoyed the food and ambiance of the Tavern. Was staying in the Hawthorne for a night and made a reservation for dinner.... The crab cakes were really good and the risotto was phenomenal. Service was excellent - our server made sure we had everythingwe needed to enjoy dessert up in our room. Read more
