The crumb cake was a definite 5 stars! WOW! The lemon turnover was just OK.
Stopping here made our whole morning!! Patty was the sweetest :) She was so chatty and friendly, total sweetheart! The pumpkin... bread was wonderful-perfect amount of moisture and flavor. My boyfriend got the macaroons and he LOVED them. We are picky aboutour sweets and were so pleased! Prices were more than reasonable (cheap honestly). 11/10 would recommend! Read more
My friends and I vacationed in Salem just down the street and discovered this locally loved and home cooked breakfast pastries... and treats shop on the corner. Patty was a delight every morning and our last three breakfasts were from here. This hole in the wall has the best donuts in Salem. Get there early and they may still be warm...yum! Family owned.
Great little shop, we got there mid afternoon and had coffee and donuts we found both the locals and the staff to be really... friendly and helpful. As the weather had turned to snow we were even offered a lift back to the train station by one of theregulars... Fantastic! We also had a good chat with the lady owner and her mother who had been working in the shop for fiftyyears. A definite must visit when in Salem. Read more
