Went to Rice and Beans for lunch. No wait. The owner was very friendly and explained the food. Got rice bowls and they were very... good. Fresh fillings, good choices, the lime crema was very good. (The temperature of the rice bowl ingredients was warm, nothot, if it was a to-go it would have been a problem) We got a beef empanada and wish we would have gotten more. (3 for $5) Wewanted a dessert but they did not have the tres leches as his wife was out with a baby. We will visit again, and next time willtry all the different empanadas. Read more
I have to say this restaurant is top tier. The food is absolutely delicious. Customer service cannot be beat absolutely... outstanding always friendly from all the staff. This food is absolutely amazing! The pernil is my favorite, it's so tender and full of flavor. My boyfriends favorite is the... roasted chicken. We've tried different rice every time and they are all so good. My favorite side is the red beans they areabsolutely incredible! Prepared to be wowed by this amazing authentic food! My go to dish is the veggie rice bowl with slow roasted pork, everything... included. I even get a small order of sweet plantains. This sweet and savory combo is so good that I?ve put it into my weeklyrotation of lunch while working. The food here is really inconsistent. Some days there's a lot of spice, others there's hardly any. Yesterday we ordered chicken... and all you could taste was pepper and lime. Absolutely horrible experience and after 4 weeks of consecutively ordering, we'redone. Can't go back after receiving an inedible meal. Read more
