I?ve always been a fan of The Beach Plum but waited to visit the new Salem restaurant as the reviews have been mixed since they... opened. Glad to say we had a great experience here on a Saturday night around 6pm. They were busy but on their toes! Had thegrilled salmon salad which was perfectly grilled with a lot of salad and the fried haddock dinner. We tried this place when they first opened and it was not good. Wanted to give them a chance again we went back. We ordered the... clams, chicken finger basket and onion rings. The food came out cold so we sent it back and this is how they recooked our clamshot but burnt. The fries still came back cold and the rings were fresh and hot. Anyone home?? I figured I?d call in a takeout order as I was going to be shopping at Tuscan village but after calling six times... in a row with no answer I thought they might be closed. I decided to just go over to check if they were open anyways and orderinside instead and when I walked in there was no one to be seen at the front counter: I waited for quite a few minutes and stillno one came up. I pulled out my phone and called the number again to only watch the phone right in front of me ring and no onearound to answer the phone or even seem to care that it was ringing.. what?s going on over there?
