What a great new place. We absolutely loved walking around the beirgarden while waiting for our table. We do wish you could get... more of their main menu during "brunch" hours. But you can't go wrong either brunch either. Read more

Had so much fun today at The Tiki Takeover. The setup was so cool, and festive. I loved seeing so many people dressed up for the... event theme. And the decorations were so fun too. The live band was great, and the food and drinks were delicious. I cannot waitto go back here again. Read more

(Reviewing the restaurant) Food is quality but is on the high end for what you get and the drinks are expensive ($13+) as well.... The location is fantastic in nice weather and sort of justifies the prices but in hot/cold or poor weather it loses it's charm. There is a tiny bar that is located outside so you can only sit at it when weather permits. Really wanted to like it (the restaurant) more than we did. Best part of the meal was the Caesar salad. The strip was over... cooked and chewy. Everything had the taste of being reheated vs freshly prepared ergo my wild boar ragu was also over cooked Read more

We were in the area and decided to stop by for lunch. We happened to come in right before the lunch time rush. We got lucky. I... ordered the fig pizza and my husband ordered the sausage. We foolishly failed to realize they were like normal sized pizzas..lol! But both were delicious. So we were happy for the leftovers. The atmosphere was really nice. Afterwards, we went over tothe bakery section and got a few baked goods. The cannolis are delicious. Would highly recommend. Read more

I generally can't stand to give a bad review but this place made it real hard to have positive notes about it. There was one... person in the entire staff that was remotely concerned there were customers and did anything to help out of maybe 9 people I sawabout. It was also almost completely dead for a Friday evening. Maybe a total of 10 groups of people came in the hour I wasthere between the dessert counter, deli, general store, and restaurant. Three people at the hostess stand but no one told myserver I'd been sat despite being in direct line of sight from the stand and watching her walk past me a handful of times. Whenshe finally got to me, the service was uncomfortable, like I felt out of place asking for things. That being said, food anddrinks were brought along pretty quickly. Hibiscus tea was pretty good, lemonade was $3 for minutemade, which seems kinda crazy.Artichoke bruschetta was very savory, just a bit sour with a ton of cheese. I liked that but it might be excessive for some.Pasta was al dente, sauce was bright and seemed fresh but a bit under flavored. I'd probably try something else if I went backbut I'd get it again in general. Gelato was very powerful, passable texture, nothing to write home about. Pastries were verygood, cannolis were prefilled and had a 2 hour drive home but were still crispy. Cheesecake was a fluffy texture, not a moredense NY style, which worked fine for me. Two staff members were talking at the meat counter, one on the customer side onebehind the counter the entire time I was in the store, about an hour including my meal. Front checkout was occupied for a grandtotal of 5 minutes and when I went to check out with the two things I had, I couldn't get a single person to talk to me. Stoodthere for 10 minutes, someone picked up an order next to me and the staff member walked away after giving them the food. Twostaff members made themselves pizza right across the counter, looked at me and walked away. Eventually I got Read more

I love the location of this restaurant, right next to smuttynose brewery! I've been here a few time, but the service is... incredibly slow, it always takes 30 minutes or more for a server to come over to our table after we've been seated. Not tomention that the tables are usually not even cleaned. The wait is also always an hour or more because they don't takereservations. Plan on spending over three hours here. The food is fairly good but nothing special. Hopefully the restuarantimproves, as it is very new. Read more
