My server Kimberly G. was very friendly from the moment we stepped in the door. She was excellent at service and very up beat.... She was a fresh of fresh air. The food was very good and so delicious. As well as a lot of it. If the food wasn't good, I wouldcome back just for the service. I truly do recommend this place. First time in along time visit. Wanted some breakfast and remembered this place has it all, all day long. Got seated quickly. ... Friendly staff. Huge menu. Something for everyone. Unique food offerings in that it's not your typical fare like thecorporate restaurants. Had 3 meats and cheese omlette and added onions and peppers for a reasonable price. Too big for me tofinish. It was egg-cellent the next day. She had breakfast skins which were fried potato halves and wedges smothered inscrambled eggs, bacon, ham and a whole lot of cheese. And again reasonable price and too much to finish in one sitting. Wewill definitely return sooner rather than later to enjoy some of the many other offerings. The carpets could use a cleaningand some updates may be over due however it feels like a step into the past and honestly their cooking and affordability areworth the visit. Read more

Not a bad place, the food was good. We had the cruise and I liked it. We did not have to wait long for our food so that was... nice. The prices are not too bad, about 11.00 for there sandwich with fries. Read more

My husband and I enjoy every so often eating at the restaurant and usually out of preference just because it is Who We Are, we... eat in the bar. We had not eaten there for almost 2 years at having husband's mother live with us during that time who hadwheelchair, cognitive and aging restrictions and challenges, so we were very tied to the home. She passed in April this year sowe promptly started happily returning to the restaurant eating in the bar. We were talking about it just this morning mentioningat least four different staff in the bar who served our meals were very comfortable and nice people that we enjoyed. It was our first trip in and yet it felt like we'd been there dozens of times. Every person on staff that passed by was busy,... with big smiles. It was a nice atmosphere and the menu was huge. There's something for everyone... The chicken fried steak Iordered was bigger than my foot and it tasted amazing. We all ate until we were full and left with to-go containers. We have tried several times this year and that's why it gets a 2 star rating. Service is good, when you get it and if it comes... around. Bar drinks are bland (bloody mary needs help). Cocoa is good. Omelet is good and the only thing I can say. The biscuitsand gravy....your mom's gease can on the stove will taste better!!! The salted caramel French toast was good (so the teensaid). Overall...this place has a gaggle of regulars and that's all they are going to keep. We won't be going back anymore andI recommend you find someplace else to better spend your hard earned money. Ate here twice in one week, due to excessive traveling. We accidentally found this wonderful place & since we happened to LOVE... it, so much our 1st time, we went back a 2nd time. The 1st time we went, I had the Skylark Bagel Sandwich, with a Green Salad &Blue Cheese Dressing. My dining partner had the Club House with Housemade Potato Salad. My Skylark had the most tasty,freshest cuts of Turkey Breast. Not salty, processed Turkey either. It was more than obvious, that they had roasted the TurkeyBreast in house. I seriously wanted to take home a pound of just the Turkey Breast. I loved my Sandwich & it was so HUGE, Iate the other half for dinner, later. Oh, also I did order it with sliced, fresh, raw Onion added. I want to make one of myown of this Sandwich, but it HAS to be with their Turkey Breast, I swear I am now hooked! Lol. My Green Salad was simple, theBlue Cheese dressing was delicious. The Cranberry & Cream Cheese on my Bagel Sandwich, was the perfect pairing of sweet &savory. My dining partner's Club House Sandwich was gigantic & he as well took the other half of his, home for Dinner.
