Wow! I haven't been since before Covid and back then I would have given this place three stars (decent and I ate there... occasionally). It seems that they have revamped their menu and significantly improved the quality of their food. I went tolunch with a friend today and sat in the bar. The waitress was a peach-she was friendly and super patient while we caught upwith each other. When we finally ordered (spaghetti and manicotti with salads), the food was delivered promptly and it wasexcellent. I also ordered the chicken and mushroom linguine and tortellini alfredo combo for my husband to-go and i couldn'tstop taking bites of his food. I am excited to eat here again and next time I will bring the whole family. Read more
Called in a small beef and pepperoni deep dish pizza tonight. The pizza was ready within 5 minutes of the time given. The pizza... itself was outstanding. It had plenty of toppings as well as cheese. It was so filling I have breakfast for the morning. Ihighly recommend if looking for a deep dish pizza in the area. Read more
Absolutely delicious, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and they don't skimp on ingredients. The mushroom linguine was creamy... and flavorful and packed with mushrooms. Taste is subjective, having said that…dont let this review stop you from trying this place. I got a small deep dish. Paid 17... for it, I feel cheated. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Presentation, customer service, clean restaurant, yes toall. Maybe being from a pizza state like New Jersey, makes me evaluate pizzerias at a very high standard. I found it very salty. Read more
Older Italian restraint. Certainly more kitchen family style. Been in biz since 1974. At lunch on a Sunday they had one server... so it was a bit slow coming out but the service was good. They have mostly traditional bread and butter Italian food as well asit looks like a hefty pizza take out. The food was good. Pasta prepared well and fresh. Meats were good. They have a house madechocolate mouse that was realy good. We had spaghetti and meat balls, shrimp picatta (big shrip) and sausage Alfredo. Portionswere big and tasted good. The decor was outdated and dingy it was dark and the bread they serve is ok. Although I like the foodthe experience was meh.. Read more
Stopped in to get a quick bite just before lunch and was so grateful they had personal sized pizzas. I was able to customize a... delicious, personal pie to go along with my side salad. I believe my server was Marvin. Marvin was amazing, came and checked onme a few times during my meal. The salad came crisp and cold, pizza was piping hot, but what surprised me the most was theparmesan was ice cold. This told me that it was actually fresh and real parm and they know how to take care of theiringredients. I also hear they now have partnered with a local delivery company so if you don't want to brave the winter weatherto get your authentic Chicago style pizza. Went here with fiancé. Received undercooked chicken, they fixed it with a whole new plate which was must better all around.... Their sauce and food were very bland and overpriced. While waiting to pay, I saw everything being cooked in microwaves. I willtry there pizza next time and not their entrees. They had very nice staff and a lovely vampire decor. Read more
My family take me to Geppetto's every year for my birthday and they never disappoint! The moment you walk in you're greeting by... the pizza artists and the service is as amazing as the food!
