This is the default Mexican restaurant for us. The food quality is great, and they have some of the best tortillas I've had... anywhere in the world. You can peek in the kitchen where the ladies make them as you enter the building if you don't believethey're fresh... The wait staff is friendly and efficient and does a great job at accommodating picky eaters. The menu is big,and has a ton of great stuff, including a few standard American dishes like hamburgers and french fries. We eat here at leastevery other month on average, with most of those times being for birthdays or other special occasions, and we've never had a badexperience. There's usually freshly made tortilla chips, salsa, and refried beans at the table within a few seconds of sittingdown, and they keep it coming until the entrees arrive. I know fajitas are really simple to make, and are kind of the sameeverywhere, but I do end up getting them more often than not. That or some sort of carnitas burrito. Anything that comes withtortillas is great. Portions are big, and the food always comes out super hot - especially fajitas. I'm not super well versedon the styles of Mexican cuisine, and I know there's a lot of interplay between American and Mexican food culture, so I can'ttell you how authentic this place is, but it's really similar to other places I've eaten at in Oregon, and California, but thosetortillas... The food here was absolutely amazing! My friend got the pork carnitas platter and I got the chicken fajita nachos, mind you I... ordered the small and I have no idea what would have happened if I had ordered the large. That plate was gigantic. I was alsovery surprised, given the high quality food, the comfortable seating, and how packed it was, that the service here was solacking. Had to ask for everything twice from different people, and only one out of the six servers ever really smiled. Couldn'ttake a star away though, the food was too good. Read more

This place is honestly the BEST Mexican restaurant in all of Salem. The staff is so friendly and attentive to there customers.... You are treated like family here and the interior of the restaurant is very nicely kept clean and is beautiful. The food costsare very reasonable considering the amount of food you get. The in house made tortillas are the greatest and the drinks areabsolutely satisfying. This is 100% Authentic Mexican Cuisine. Margarita is the best in town for flavor. Food was hot and fresh however a bit lacking in seasoning. Would like to return to... try other dishes. They have so many choices and there are excellent explanations in for each dish in their extensive menu. Update over a year later: I returned to try the Sizzling Steak Fajitas. The flavor of the steak was lacking in authenticMexican spices. Tortillas were very fresh. Daughter had the chicken quesadilla and liked it alot. The complimentary chips,salsa and beans with cabbage is a great appetizer. I will return again to try something else from their huge menu. Read more
