Maravillas bakery nailed my daughters cakes, I asked specifically for the picture and frosting design. The color, pattern, and... picture were dead on, not to mention the chocolate was smooth and the cake was moist and fluffy. Sad I didn't get a side shot ofthe cake. My daughter is very picky and very particular about her cakes/food. A little spendy but it was worth it! Read more

Best locally owned bakery! I've been going here for several years and they're consistently great. The daily pastry offerings are... always a good variety and perfectly priced. I recently ordered a half sheet cake with an edible image. I had checked out otherbakeries, which refused to even work around my theme. I'm glad I came back to Maravillas because they had no problem making whatI asked for! I'm never going to bother with any other bakery from now on. The cake was massive, delicious, and it stayed moistand edible for the couple of weeks it took us to work through it. I can't say enough good things about this place! Always friendly customer service, decent prices and comfortable seating.... Atmosphere is relaxing and they have a huge selection in their Bakery. They are restocking all day long so you never come intoempty shelves. They are knowledgeable behind the coffee counter as well. Just a hair above average for a mexican bakery as far as the selection... much more than most, price was a little higher than... average. Service was friendly, bi-lingual.....well spoken and the coffee shop addition was nice. We tried six options this timeat a total of $8... We had what looked like a croissant like crusted pie, it was flakey and had a guava fruit center (niceoption for filling) but, was not our favorite...to much crust and the filling was a ton of sugared jelly but packed with guavaflavor! The cone bread filled with creme was interesting and we have had several around town before....bread was ok but then thecreme just took over, the creme was bland, again... Not our favorite. We tried a chocolate/mocha "strudel" like pastry....flakylayered pasty but the center was very sugary and to me detracted from the overall taste. The swirly hand looking pastry waslight, crunchy and had a nice honey/toffee like taste. Light, crunchy and a hint of sweet, that's a winner to me! Triangle, lemon, turnover was sweet with a sort of flat lemon flavored filling. It was good but not high in flavor power. Lemon sconelooking yummy was my favorite! It was like a scone but better flavor, buttery with hints of lemoned sugar and fluffy for acoffee bread. Very pleasant! We tried this place because the cherros here are great!
