Hot bird sandwich was good but I replaced my side of fries with a Caesar salad that cost me $3 more and the salad was completely... wilted and inedible. Everything else was extremely oversalted. $7 portion of "spicy" fried pickles were neither spicy nor tastyfor $14. The only thing this place really has going for it is it's cocktails Read more

This restaurant was suggested to my husband and we stop there for Sunday brunch. The inside seating was full but we preferred... outdoor. It was a nice day out. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my husband tried the ladder which was French toast layeredwith fried chicken tenders. Food was great, really good portion size for the ladder. I think the shrimp & grits portion was abit lacking. We also tried the bin-yays (Beignets) and some mimosa. Really good flavor. We will definitely be back to try otheritems in the menu. Read more

Not impressed by this place. Atmosphere I'd say it's a 5, seat yourself and order upfront. They were out of there signatures... meal items blackened alligator. We had the fried chicken sliders, they were ok. Limp, wilted Cole slaw. Chicken tastes prettydecent but very thin slices, then we had fried pickles, very overly salty, almost inedible. Black coffee was so bitter anddark, five creamers couldn't help this cup of Joe. Lastly, we had the fried chicken filets on spicy red beans and a clump ofwhite rice on top, not a favorite at the table. Read more

The food is delicious and fresh (large portions). Their drinks are also very flavorful they have about 6 different flavors in... slush-style alcoholic beverages, which are perfect for the hot weather during the summer. A good treat for the kids would be thebeignets my kids love them! ???????????? Read more

This review is just for the beignets... Holly cow I have found an actual authentic, good beignet!!!! Thank you, thank you for... being the salvation in the west for my southern self. My soul is truly happy today! Fluffy and crispy, hot and sweet andperfectly cooked. I will battle downtown (don't normally if I don't have to) just to come get these little golden nuggets ofperfection. Open and bright. A playful interior, clean and friendly service. I'll try something new next time I come to getthose beignets. Recommended Read more

I recently moved back into town and was really excited for this place. Overall my experience was good. Not to my expectations,... but good. I ordered the hotbird with a side of gumbo and my wife got the cheeseburger and fancy fries. I'm not a huge fan ofBuffalo sauce so the sandwich was a bit disappointing. My gumbo had nice big chunks of chicken and sausage in it but overall itwas lacking flavor. It was definitely solid though. I tried my wife's burger and was pleasantly surprised. It was definitelybetter than my chicken sandwich. The fries were great; thin and crispy just how I like them. I will be coming back to try otheritems. Read more

I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. Turns out they have a unique Sunday menu! I was very pleased with the options for food. I... ended up ordering the Classic bird with a side of the "Hot Bird" sauce, and a classic Bloody Mary. First thing to note, thehostess/waitress, Kyra, who greeted me was just beaming with smiles and positive vibes. I was having kind of a rough dayemotionally, and her smiles and energy really elevated me. Small actions from her made a huge difference in my mood. Thank you,Kyra, for being you! Kyra also made my Bloody Mary, and it was absolutely fantastic. It had a wonderful balance of tomato juice, hot sauce, and alcohol and it just popped off the second it hit my pallette. The food also looked very appetizing, and tasted asgood as it looked. Fries were crispy and not too salty. The sandwich was SO juicy and flavorful. The breading had some kind ofmagic going on that I can't pinpoint, but A+ you guys. Thanks Noble Wave for making my Sunday lunch break much brighter. Read more

I've traveled the US for work. Louisiana many times. So I put their Fried Gator and Chiken and shrimp Gumbo. Tasted like... Louisiana to me. Good drinks also. Cool vibe, good food if you're in the mood for a touch of the south or a tasty Hurricanesthis the spot downtown. Read more
