Food and salsa bar definitely higher quality than the others we have tried in the Salem area. Sopes with carnitas were... excellent, as were the two burritos ordered. Read more

For a hole in the wall kind of location, this place was pretty amazing. Food was delicious, cooked to order, and that's priced.... The salsa bar was pretty good too. Well worth the stop if you can swing it. Read more

Food is amazing, staff is nice, and a quiet place to eat. I go here like once a week... Love this place! Salsa bar is delicious!... Hope they bring back the pico de gallo on the bar soon. They still sell it, just not free on salsa bar anymore. Try theCarnitas tacos!! Read more

Fantastic food. My husband had the chicken taco salad and I had the tacos a la plancha, steak with a crispy shell. Both were... flavorful and filling. The taco salad, and beans and rice came in a taco shell bowl, which was a pretty cool touch. Our waitresswas phenomenal. Read more

Just walked out of this place after hubby and I took one bite of our entrees?.it was a terrible from the moment we walked.... Waitress had the personality of a wet rag. Loud house music was playing and the floors were super sticky!! Had some chips andsome salsa. We tried all the salsas from the salsa bar, the corn salsa looked like it was there for a week. It looked dried outand they use larger cheap corn kernels so it?s super chewy. The mild salsa mixed with the hot made an ok salsa. Hubby orderedthe fried cali burrito and it wasn?t even hot. I ordered one of the chicken entrees and it was swimming in grease. The rice wasdried out and the beans were luke warm Read more

Salsa Bar is a definite must. Freshness of everything is unsurpassed. So many skimp on the avocado, but Alejandro's is more than... generous from their Salsa Mexicana (avocado based salsa) to the portion presented in the meal, it really set the mood fordelicious Mexican repast. If you don't like avocado, that's OK (though something might be wrong with you), there are plenty ofoptions that don't include avocado or guacamole. Was a little concerned about the quality of the food, as many "bars" are moreinterested in their alcohol sales and only offer food to keep the taps flowing. Here, it is a true delight to enjoy even thegenerous lunch portions. The Cuban Sandwich, which includes 3 kinds of hot meats and plenty of additional condiments (includingavocado), is a double handful of goodness. If you have a willing dinning partner, have them drizzle the various salsas on yourCuban while you take each bite. It provides some excellent variety and allows you to keep ahold of the prize. The Steak FajitaTaco Salad is also generous with what appeared to be a home-made tortilla and nice blend of rice, beans, salad andcondiments. For the salsa, it was a lot of fun to fill up multiple cups and try the 6 different varieties. Pre-COVID, they usedto have even more variety of salsas, hopefully they will be able to get back to that in the future. Service was excellent &FAST. Absolutely loved it. Thanks for the great lunch. We ate here on a stop going to PA. Read reviews and figured we would give it a try. We were not disappointed!! The service was... great just like the food! I had the burrito mexicano and it has got to be one of the best Mexican dishes I have ever had. Thesalsa bar is also very good. We are planning to stop by again on our way back from PA. Can?t wait!! Classic Mexican restaurant with large portions and many menu choices. The food is good. Liked the salmon salad. They have daily... drink options which was good too. We had a large margarita and it was fine. We had 6 there and everything was good. I wouldrecommend trying this place. Read more
